Default prismatic spray and draconic presence

does draconic presence add or stack to the DC for prismatic spells because they have a possible fear effect? anyone know? would be worth taking if it does

Technically it should but I would also like to know if the 2 are linked.

    Great question.

i guess the easiest way to check is check your DC before taking it and after. that should do maybe?

I used draconic presence to add +3 DC to my phantasmal killer spell.

It works on all fear based spells. I'm sure the spray's fear attack is a fear based DC / has a fear tag to it... so should add to it.

Albeit, why in the world u want to fear a mob is another thing.

I'd rather have the violet ray send it to another plane (exiled to a void plane regardless if eberron / faerun is the home plane....)

Lol... yes... send that mob to the Phantom zone! No air! ETERNAL MISERY! MUAHAHAHAHAH

The main DC it shows is only Evocation DC.

So I'm assuming, as long as the spell effect has a "fear" tag on it. The DC will be increased for that 1 spell. the majority Evocation DC will still show the same.

DC for PK is illusion. But, it gains +3 from draconic presence.

This works for most spells but prismatic ray and prismatic spray pick between 7 random effects(one of them being fear). Individual DCs are not immediately available to check as far as I know.

This is not fully true, the druid spell "Howl of Terror" which "paralyzes mobs in fear" is not increased. I would assume that prismatic spray does not benefit from an increased DC until proven otherwise.

Such a great question, I have been wondering this for a while. Had anyone had a chance to test?
