There have been a couple of recent threads by others discussing the process of building a multiclass character. For various reasons including fault of the ops those threads got derailed but I did feel that in essence the idea of a thread detailing the process of how to create a 'build' was a worthwhile enterprise. I have therefore been moved to create this thread.
About the author:
Ive been playing DDO since the cap was 10, Im an avid multiclasser, end game raider, and ocasional role player - Im not the best of the best, but I do ok. If my builds cant handle quests on the toughest settings then Im not a happy chapy.
The Information I provide here is 'my opinion', and 'my methods'. Id be quite hapy to discuss them further if you have questions, id also be hapy to hear your opinions and your methods for multiclass build design. What I dotn want to see in this thread is people bashing the idea of multiclassing entirely. Although I may be using examples this thread is not about the specific builds...
Now the self agrandising is out of the way....Lets get on to builds.
There are 3 basic types of multiclass characters:
1. The flavour build.
2. The versatile performance build.
3. The extreme specialist.
This will be on ongoing process of writing this up over the next few days so im reserving several posts below this one for the chapters.
