Default Night of the Fallen moon slotted with an augment of Endless night?

Has anyone done this and does it increase the number of levels drained? Or would I be better off slotting this weapon with something else?

    Hi Bolo Grubb.

I have not tried it, but I am of the oppinion that slotting a Mabar Red Augment of Energy Drain, will stack, i.e. work with Nightmare The Fallen Moon. That is both the effects will proc when a 20 is rolled and the Nightmare will proc on a Critical.

The reason I think it will work is because, if you have a +5 Shock Weapon with a Red Augment and then you slot a Superior Red Augment of Shock in there. You get both effects, the Shock from the Sword itself and the Shock from the Augment. That is they stack.

However I have not tested it with Nightmare, so I could theoretically be wrong.

My advice, slot The Mabar Augment in the Nightmare and test it out. If it doesnt work, you can use a "Jeweler's Tool Kit" (Available from the DDO store for 150 TP) to safely remove the Mabar Augment from the Sword, and return it to your inventory.

    Happy testing.
So in everything, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I've slotted one into a Doublecross bow and can confirm, it appears to be WAI.
