    Default Vorpal

Ok, yeah sounds awesome that the vorpal is getting the extra .5 Die step, but really odd question. Since Sin III's get Vorpal weapons...does that mean they would get a .5 die step to all weapons?

And what about assassins? They get vorpal on weapons at Assassin III.
Here's a riddle for you: What do you call people who play the game for only a day and apparently know everything?

My Question is what are you talking about?

.5 die? Is this math or a figure pulled out of thin air?

If it is math then you mean 1500 hitpoints?

    What do you mean?

The vorpal weapon affix will be giving the weapon it is on an additional +.5[W]. That said, since the release notes specify the "vorpal weapon affix", I would not expect any other version of "vorpal" to be affected. (this includes the rogue ability and the monk feat).

In addition to its previous effects, this curse now causes the victim to deal 4 less damage with its melee and ranged attacks and take 2d6 damage every two seconds. The curse now has a duration of 12 seconds. Additional Improved Cursespewing procs will add 12 seconds to the remaining duration.
      • The "Vorpal" weapon prefix now also adds an additional 0.5 damage dice to the attacks of the weapon it is on.
Bolding mine, the vorpal prefix, like can be found on slashing weapons, will add 0.5 weapon damage to the weapon it it is on, thus, a vorpal greatsword will be 1.5[2D6], while a normal greatsword is 1[2D6]. They are asking if The assassin 3 enhancement from rogues, which grants a vorpal like effect, will get the same upgrade.

Die, as in, "singular of dice," not die, as in, "cease to be alive."

English is a terrible language sometimes.

Vorpal will now add 0.5[W] to the base damage die.

I cannot think of any possible reason that class abilities giving vorpal would add the .5[W].

Would you also expect the Manslayer mod to do the same?

They do not get vorpal weapons. They get "on vorpal effects".
    One is a weapon enchantment.
The other is an on a roll of 20 effect.

    These are not the same.

In fact the only thing I could see that could possibly get it as well is the Monk epic feat of Vorpal Strikes as it is near a direct replication of the weapon enchantment, but I highly doubt it.
