Not WAI then. I've never seen one pulled out of arena, and I've opened the Wizard's challenge chest often.

Allright, then drop rate must be even more tragic, because I didn't seen a single one with 6 people ransacking both challenges, then all relogging and ransacking again.

Why not simply throw mats to chests? Players would shut up, and no one would care about closed challenges.

Nah, just make the mats BTA. Seriously, just do it.

I would like to see them bta, but it wouldn't fix the issue- there would still be no option to generate new mats.

Thanks, cool. Darn! That's how I ended up with one - but at the time I didn't know you could deconstruct them and just sold it at the bar.

Chests. Chests. No, I don't think so. That's going to take too long.

I'm giving up on my cloak until the Druid's challenges are reopened - lots of other stuff to do in the meantime.

Ive pulled Cormyrian weaps out of both Arena fights multiple times. They do drop, but the rate is not good. I've done four tier 3 cloaks and numerous tier 1/2 cloaks, to give you some idea of how many runs its over (so like over 10000 silver falcons and 5000 golden lions, at maybe 150ish a run, far beyond ransacking the chest). I've seen them, but certainly not common.

That said, a dev clarifying that you could farm something with a low drop rate, to exchange for the chance at getting some moss/toadstools (you don't get every ingredient each trade-in), in response to talk about using it as a possible replacement for running closed quests, is kind of peculiar. I mean, I am all for getting correct info out, so thats good. But uh, yea, you're not going to replace 1600 enchanted mosses with cormyrian drops, heh. Not even close =p

Edit: Oh yea. Make the mats BTA already please. Its seriously hurting the ability to group on some of these (once your healers cloak is done, its a tough sell helping out for this long a grind, and similar scenarios). BTA mats will go a long way to keeping these popular, and with the new gear out the cloaks are no longer "over the top" in any fashion (if indeed they ever were). Its time to allow the players some ease of use when approaching the content, before theres no reason to approach the content at all. Thanks.

True, but the closed challenge makes it impossible to make any type of weapons. I was going to grind out a repeater on my lightly gear Arti but alas.

    Default Trade in?

Wouldnt it be nice if you could trade all those extra silver mabbobs and copper doohickies for the fey stuff?

I really would like to get back to grinding out my war wizzy staff.

Like a 2:1 ratio you can trade mats over to different mats.

Since we can trade the House C challenge ingredients, I see no reason that we cannot trade the Forgotten Realms ones.

But...the House C ones are also BtA.

Make them BTA, make them tradable within an account.

Oh, and while you are at it, just fix the challenges, again, its code, its NOT that complex, contrary to what some people like to think, might take an hour, might take a few days of someone's time..either way its not that difficult.

    Hi Dev people,

I recall talk by a Dev that these ingrediants would be made bound to account. Any timing or update on this?

Thanks. Appreciate all you guys do to entertain us (although we do hate nerfs).

As someone in software development with 10 yr old code. It's not always that easy. A fix here might break something from 10 yrs ago that is tied to some code that is used by both. Proper testing is required to make any change and this takes time.

    So what with challenge items?
Are you going to make them possible to craft, or we got traditional 'screw you, players'?

    Wooohooo!

Thanks for the update - super appreciated!

That means we can run for all the other ingredients and just be sitting on the "click-make" button
