If you guys make TOUGHNESS Augment a drop that soloers cannot get (and by this I mean the non-raider Soloers) I am going to be really ****ed off.
Feather's comment about it being a high demand item and them pulling it because of this, leads to the rather obvious conclusion that they saw how popular it is and hope that it'll help sell the next pack.
I have no problems with buying packs for new loot, but when you start pulling items that were free for all, so that you can sell them back to us, I've got an issue with that.
I hope I'm wrong, for your sake, Turbine, I better be wrong.
Uee your SP item as a swap in at shrines buff then swap in your epic item.
At higher levels Guild HP slot is a place holder for a Greensteel or Epic item if you dont already have them.
Guild Slots are great for low level stuff but by epics they are trivial.
The only usefull Guild high level slots were for skills to give that tweak bump for situational things like intimidate, traps, locks etc..
Jotmon - Let's not forget why we play these games - to have fun - ~
Guild: Degenerate Matter - 200 (Former Guilds: ChaosKnights, Big Damn Heroes, Shadowfiends, Order of the Drow, Unusual Suspects, Raided R)
Argo-Jotmon(Completionist - before the Otto's/XP pots easymode), Jotmonheals(Clr17/Rog2/Mnk1-Epic Completionist), Whatthetruck.. and many many more alts..
Update 24: Champions... "whew, it's ok, it's only a red name" .. sad day when trash spawn Champions and their one-shot ignore fort attacks instill more party fear than the Red named bosses.
They're not going away per say. Personally I currently use a googles with a large guild slot for my Sorc since the 160 SP is a good source for buffing, but it's marginal if that since my sorc have currently 3600 spell points and usually have about a third left before a shrine. Those 160 won't really make or break my run - only help me stretch things a lil'.Guild slots going away is huge. This is power creep at it's finest.
But I can see that in some areas that those extra +4 skill points in intim etc makes a differense or while TRing both stacking SP and HP is useful. So I'm glad that they will keep the guild feature going foward, just that you won't find any more items with guild slots once update 17 hits.
Just remove toughness altogether, it's too powerful. Or redesign it again.
The truth is, it doesn't. End of the story.
Talking about power creep, they don't want to give us more power but yet they put mobs CR over 9000 with over 9000 saves where even (enemy) Arcanes and Brutes save often enough from a 58 DC Spell based on REFLEX. It's just silly.
Someone got it wrong. Everyone expected the Spanish Inquisition because they were required to give 30 days notice, by law.
I can be found on Orien. My more active toons are Cilon, Solstone in Your Pack, and sometimes Acroyer.
Blue/Yellow Augments should also include the basic Shroud abilities such as:
- Elemental Energy line (Hit Points)
- Elemental Spell Power line (Spell Points)
- Shcok/Ice/Fire/Acid guards
- Elemental Absorption enchantments
Shroud is 5 years old and provides ML11 or ML12 loot, yet I am still grinding to fit these items onto my L25 builds (more the first two points).
Inferus Sus Thelanis; Primary Bodies:

Body Designer: Bodybuilder 20 Artificer
Question: is the next update only going too be a re-hashed 5yrs old quest line with a " New augment pass" or will we have somthing new too do?
Xoriat Born~Doompriest~Doom~DoomTusk~Legion of Doom~Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
It'll be found in the vicinity of the Orchard of the Macabre, and will be a Minimum Level 12 Augment.
The only reason the Toughness augment doesn't yet exist is technical hurdles- it needs some of special work, because the existing Toughness item enchantment needs to be overhauled behind the scenes to have a new bonus type (lets call it a +20 Toughness bonus to Hit Points) instead of its current behavior of having no bonus type at all.
This won't change how the Toughness item mutation behaves, since it'll be a brand new bonus type- it'll stack with all other bonus types.
Once that's done, we'll be able to put in the Toughness augment which gives the same benefit.
Which I'm personally fine with... the bugs (and enhancement pass!!) need a lot of attention, and the game does have plenty of old content that is rarely run anymore because of little loot incentive.
Plus, if Epic Gianthold is any indication, we may still get a new raid in the process.
