    Thumbs down unpleased :(

    when i take VIP, i got email that money will be taken automaticly from my credit card every month... this morning when i log in game it was wait me nice suprise (u have 7 characters, and u are allowed to have 4... delete 3 character)... im playing with them all and i dont even know how much game money i lost with character i had to delete... (of course i wasnt able to log in and see or to transfer game money to my other other characters)... i check my credit card, and there is money on it, so that part is out of discussion... btw, i didnt get any email that my subscription expired... i will reactivate my subscription, but sadly thinking about characters i lost

    When I let my VIP subscription lapse, it never said I had to delete any characters. It said you have 11, but you are only allowed 4. Please select the 4 characters you wish to use. (Or something like that). A month or so later when I decided to resub as VIP I gained access to all 11 characters and the shared bank again. Nothing was lost, I just couldn't use them as a premium account until I upgraded back to VIP.

    I've gone from VIP to premium and I've NEVER ... repeat, NEVER!!! had to delete a character because of that.

    It should give you a list of characters where you click which ones are active. You can play those and the others are locked until you get more character slots, DDO store or upgrade membership.

    If you deleted characters you were not reading something correctly.

    ok, my appologize.. i just check and see my all characters are there ... i was afraid when i had to chose 4 characters i will lost rest of them... so, my bad :P

    Glad it was just a misunderstanding.

    It would really bite to lose a bunch of characters without so much as a warning.

    I could lose all of my characters but one and I probably wouldn't notice. My gimpiness would still be intact too!

    Glad to see everything is alright, and nice to see threads where people help, as long as those threads don't impinge on the drama threads, which I like.

    When you lose VIP you dont delete characters you just drop down to 4 plus whatever slots you have bought the rest become inactive until you buy more slots or go VIP again you never never ever have to delete a character.


    OOps should have read on I just responded to your first post. Anyways if it had been the way you thought that would have been upseting and a poor business practice.

    This week i am having the exact same issue...my account was downgraded to premium and got the same thing..you have 7 chars..choose 4 so i upgraded to vip again and played all day long..next day i logged in and again this came up...i checked my visa and no money had been taken for vip....so i upgraded again and played all day long with all my chars, next day the same thing..every day i have to upgrade to vip to play my chars, the card has money on it..thats not an issue, but every day my account is downgraded to premium. I have submittied a technical ticket? via email but it says it will take time...so for now if i want to play daily i have to continue to upgrade from premium to vip

    Each time i upgraded to vip i choose the 3 month plan...

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Might get a quicker reply. Sounds like an issue with your card maybe. If it is a prepaid card and not a real credit card, that sometimes causes issues (for me).

    Double check your CC info, that the card hasn't renewed and you haven't updated the account info to the new expiration date.

    Otherwise, as Fedora has posted, a call to acct support will be in order. They'll be able to tell you more about where the error is coming from.

    Daynox,

    Based on what you've described I am pretty certain your payments are failing for some reason. I would contact your bank and see if they can provide any info on what is causing the payments to fail. After contacting your bank, if you still have issues activating contact Account Support directly and they will take a further look for you.

    I found the problem...

    Ive already blown through a couple prepaid visa cards that i had bought at EB games here for buying tp...when you buy those cards they are automatically activated and can be used right away, the new card im using was bought at the bank, what they didnt tell me was i had to "activate" said card....so after activating the card, i redid my vip subscription, and checked the card balance online and sure enough the charge was finally there...

    so im good to go.. ^_^
