Have to agree with Haek, warforged enhancements look pretty good.

For class enhancements - anything with splits like 18/1/1, 17/2/1, 16/2/2 and the like will probably benefit the most from the new system.

Yea, looks to me that they got buffed on lam, not nerfed.

The next problem is the base dice, where a onehander has usually 1d6-1d10 the thf weapons have 2d8-1d20 which benefits again greatly from all dice raising mechanics like cleaves or deadly weapons.
Last but not least is the attack range which usually isnt much of a problem, except when endgame is a bunch of backknocking giants.

As soon as the devs see those problems and address them correctly, i will go twf myself again since this is my favorite playstyle.

Until then its cleaver for the win.
I agree with this had full TWF feats and Khopesh feat on my main, did some testing and THF without any feats just the cleaves and momentum swings always killed things faster, it was close in some boss fights but not worth 4 feats IMO.

Edit: and I had to be really close for the momentum swings to work for TWF which was getting really frustrating esp. in EGH.

Looking at the battle engineer tree, would you plan on going swinging a bastard sword/dwarves axe equipped with a rune arm on the side

Sorry for my previous post, I was in a panic

As this build is successful and really popular, I wanted to LR my Arti into this. Does anyone know if LR is safe with ED's and Epic Levels? I haven't LR'd in years, so may be a dumb question.

Pretty sure as some would say it's still at your own risk , but most don't have a problem with it ..

As long as you aren't caring about key enhancements that may be gone. Monk Animal Path, for instance, may not be something you can snag.

As long as those minor classes are there for the class granted abilities (and they often are) I think you're going to end up moderately ok.

I've got a bastard sword primary / repeater secondary older arti that (if I didn't have some gear on him already) I'd consider LRing into more Juggie ... but honestly he does ok right now and w/ the pass who knows if b-swords will end up better off than they are now. At the very least I'd get a feat out of the deal, which would be nice.

the new battle engineer core feat look nice. more defensive buff.

However, theres one problem and im not sure if its a display bug (hopefully) or not, apparently, the PRR granted by the battle engineer core enahncement doesn't seem to stack with body type feat.

    @ the OP -

What are all the current stats of your Juggernaught build in light of the recent enhancement changes on Lamannia? I've never really been able to get my hands on +4 tomes, so my main only has +3 tomes to every stat. :/

Also, what is the base damage you're getting with your weapon before Adrenalines and buffs? >.>

In spite of the enhancement changes, I feel like this build would be the ultimate omni-build I've been striving to achieve for quite some time. Granted, my Shiradi Destroyer can accomplish quite a few things being a ranged/caster Shiradi Champion, but this build puts my Destroyer to shame - especially in the saves department. What gear are you wearing to get your saves so high?

'- As Displacement clickies from Shroud make Quarterstaff bases, then you have a chance of retaining the Essence equal your Artificer Level + Int Modifier."

Excellent point, ive been thinking about making some Disp clickies (only have one atm) and wouldnt have thought of this!!

"Whenever an Artificer uses a rod, staff, or wand, the character has a chance to not expend a charge. The percentage chance is equal to (Artificer Level)/2 + Int Modifier + Enhancement Modifier + Effect Modifier."

What would be Enhancement and Effect modifies for this?

If you want to hit 50'ish reflex saves on the ranger version you want the following gear:

    Jeweled cloak: 7 resistance
Treads: +8 dex, 3 insightful dex
    Superior parrying bracers
On slots: True globe / Eldritch saves ritual / good luck +2

So from gear you can add 20 more reflex. Then you'll need to use Tensers, shipbuffs, GH, and twist in brace for impact to get another 10. The rest comes from base dex and base saves which should be close to 20 in total. Should you twist in magister reflex then you can make it to 50 easily. Otherwise, you need all the buffs you can get.

On the paladin version you can get saves of 50 easily. I'm using the 6 reflex from magister and I'm sitting at exactly 50 reflex save before buffs - using tensers and GH that makes 56; with shipbuffs it can even be 59.

Damage-wise. Which is more powerful, the ranger or the Paladin?

What advantage does the Ranger version enjoy over the Paladin version and vice-versa?

paladin: higher saves, can be done with 32 point build and is less gear-intensive

ranger: more feats so probably higher dps and versatility, but requires 36 point build and better gears to be efficient mainly on the saves side

so basically, starting from the point that saves matters at end game, for a 1st lifer or not much geared guy is better to go 2 pally spash, while for a 36pb with good gears and maybe completionist feat the ranger version may be better.

There is one question that still has yet to be answered - By level 25, what would the stats be for the Juggernaught (Paladin/Ranger version, though I have the 36 point build option for my main [just no completionist]) with gear, but before buffs?

Also, are ship buffs an absolute requirement (I often find myself without the ability to get high-end ship buffs, and as a consequence, try not to make builds that depend upon them.)?

Here's a picture I took a while ago. Only thing I'm missing is insightful strength item so with that and ship buffs I could reach 50 strength without using anything special. Tensers and primal scream are a total of +9 to con & str so standing is 36 str and 34 con without any buffs currently.

Ship buffs are far from necessary, I often don't have them simply because I'm too lazy to go get them.
