Default you are addicted to ddo when..

Don't think I have to explain this one:

You are addicted to ddo when..

when you estimate the will save needed to wake up this morning
when someone tells you "it's in the eye of the beholder" and you think of an actual beholder
when you write down LFH for your wife/husband and expect them to understand it

when you're trying to follow someone in a car and you mentally highlight them.

then you are surprised when it doesn't work.

When you skip out early on dinner with your mother in law, who is visiting from across the country and is leaving for the airport ofter the meal, because you are leading a guild raid and as the Guild Leader you cannot be late.

    Yeah, this really happened.
My mother-in-law is still pretty angry about it, even though it was five years ago.

When you listen to music and equate it to DDO

MC 900 ft Jesus: "Darkness fills the scene like a shroud"

MGMT "Kids": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe4EK4HSPkI (3:00) Does the background music remind you of a certain chain?

When you are planning an evening out with the fellas and you need a cleric (designated driver/regulator), a barb and or a fighter as canned beef in case things go south, a bard to inspire courage to talk to that hottie at the other table(and maybe also use diplo or bluff to avoid using the barb and or fighter to handle any discussions that go awry. edit: not with the hottie but the Horc Barb that just came back from the bathroom and succeeds a spot check on your designs).

And you are the caster pounding pots for insta-kills.. on the lady... that's right ladykiller(no I will not insert the name of one of the insta-kill spells as that would prompt a swift splash of drink to the face). Illusion spells and enchantment spells work great here, make sure you have a high enough DC and spell pen.

Sometimes the quest giver asks for money like for Delera's part 4, one can easily avoid this with bluff or going to a quest/bar that has no cover.

Note: I don't frequent bars like back in the day. Maybe because I am addicted to DDO? And as much as I pay, it's much much cheaper :P

When you are reading and posting in the forum, during those times when you can't actually be playing the game.

I miss the good old days when jokes like these were made about the tabletop game, not the video game.

You are addicted to DDO when:

Everything you do during the day is a quest and you assign a challenge rating and XP to each activity you do.

I actually did this one day, it drove a few people crazy.

My dishes had reached CR 30 last night, but I got through them solo.

Totally got skunked on the end chest, but I made level 20 Husband!

When you're driving on a misty day, and you think you need to adjust your draw distance because you can't make out the scenery until you get close.
You are responsible for your own DDO experience.
