Default Are you going to increase the XP in the numeruous quests that need it?

    Shavarath.
    Challenges.
    Cannith quests.
    Cannith Raids.
    Madness.

These are the only two coming to mind (just woke up) at the moment.

So, what we are going to do is this: We will make a list of each pack and each quest that needs a SERIOUS bump in XP. Help me out complete this (I just woke up, forgive me) and let's see if they will really listen to us for real.

Mainly, we need a bigger difference between Normal and Elite XP base. Right now, even for Rusted Blades, the difference from these 2 difficulties is a merely 400 xp. 400! And we all know how harder Elite is compared to normal.

It's utterly UNBELIEVABLE that we are only seeing XP NERFS when we've been asking for XP increases in many packs and many quests for YEARS.

EDIT: Once I find the time, I'll go and confirm myself the quests that you will suggest. I'll get down every quest of the pack suggested and add my own opinions on how much they should be increased.

There's your answer. I agree with you on BOTH counts, BTW - but no, they will not. Even if so, I suspect challenges would be adjusted before Shavrath - also for the above-quoted reason.

Challenges for sure. The heroic challenge xps are pathetic.

Don't forget about House Cannith quests/raids. They are pretty long as is and it is disappointing to see the xp bar move so little after completion.

No, they will however nerf the xp on the existing high XP ones until you stop complaining about the others being low. At least that's been past practice.

Fortunately +40% really superior XP pots will soon be added to the store.

    Default I am sorry

I dont like to be this guy, but.... for my personal playing style I am happy not to be a level hopper, levels/day (no offence), I like to slowly level so i can hit (repeatedly) the quests that have a lot of chest for guild renown and other stuff. staying at level to avoid penalties, do you know how long I sit at level 4 just running irestone,(xp saved), level 7 running Tear, etc.... more xp would be nice, so would less ransacking (especially epic, poor drop rates for seal/shard/scroll), and to fix the grouping (level settings and piblic groups) and the stuck in wall bug (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...26#post4790526) for me xp is not a top concern. this is my opinion, i hope this helps
We are all lost travelers, on a journey to find that which we do not know, but it is not a prize we seek, but the road that must be taken, it is that inside us that drives us forward into the unknown.

In all fairness, the quests that you throw out as an example are a bit different from what the OP is asking about. Also, even if the high level quests and challenges got an xp buff, they would not affect your play style in any way.

That said, I agree that a lot of the quests in the 16-20 range need to have their xp adjusted in the upwards direction.

Expect to see more xp nerfs in the future as well as more items in the store like xp pots to offset these losses. Remember the Turbine motto "It's not exploiting if we sell it in the store!" (raid timer bypasses come to mind as well as sketchy but not exactly exploited xp from challenges)

I'm not overly happy about the thought of stripping permanent or already paid for game mechanics and features in favor of selling temporary buffs in the store that bring you back to where you were before. As mentioned above, how long can it be before the imminent +40% pots come to the store.

To stay a bit more on topic and productive, my main concern, as it has been for over a year now is the exponential xp increase at level 16+ (TR) combined with a lot of very low xp/min quests and the general lack of quests at that level range, which pushes players to repeat a few select quests until insanity kicks in. I have very few issues with the level 1 - 15 game as any blanket xp increases (pots, trinket, global event, XP tome) all effect these low levels arguably more than higher levels where it is much easier to maintain an elite streak to go along with it.

Thanks. Long time since I've done Cannith stuff but I remember their XP is low, I'll add it to the list.

Funny how everyone forgets about the tomes of learning (which carry through every TR life) and the BB that were both implemented this year. Those go a long way to help mitigate the TR grind. Even the extra XPs from the MM are a nice extra. Every xp helps when TR after 2nd life.

I do agree that the new quests have had lackluster heroic xps, but to be honest most of those quests are very short. If anything the two Madness series need a 25-30% xp boost. So do the House C quests. It's bizarre they have xps so much lower than the Vale quests.

And the Cannith challenges that have a fixed length of at least 15 minutes (Kobold Chaos, Shortcuts, etc) should really be rewarding double the base xps they do currently.

Ah gotta love when someone actually suggest something and doesn't add the usual "no, they will nerf xp more". I know they are going to nerf more quests but saying that over and over will change nothing.

Will this change something? Maybe not, but I'm giving it a shot.

EDIT: I just made an edit to OP. I'll test myself every single quest when I have the time.

XP for House C quests is disappointing, at a point in the game when you really need every point to get to 20.

XP for the new heroic quests in Eveningstar is also very disappointing.

Yes as Galeria alluded to: Druid's Deep on heroic is *terrible* xp!

The Riddle as well & the Werewolves one in the hospital in eveningstar.

Specifically more xp in the 18 to 20 range absolutely!

Decouple heroic and epic counters!(When you run the quest on heroic x # of times when you go

to run it on epic that counts against you! I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

    Cheers! :P! !
