    Default Ten Bells for Boxing Great Hector "Macho" Comacho

    Boxing great Hector "Macho" Comacho dead at age 50.

    After suffering from head injuries he sustained in an ambush
    in his hometown in Puerto Rico.

    After the aatack it is said he lapsed into unconsciousness and sadly never recovered.
    Hector Commacho was taken off of life support over the weekend.

    He was most noted for some of his fights against such boxers as Eric Podolak in 1993, and including
    Sugar Ray Leonard, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya and Roberto Duran and Julio Ceasar Chavez

    He would eventually retire with a career record of 79-6-3.

    he was one of the best...

    He will be missed...

    RIP Mr. Comacho.

    I'm a big fan of boxing, especially between the eras of Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard. Camacho was very exciting to watch in the ring. Fast hands and always came into the "squared circle" in great condition and gave it his all.
