Running challenges would be great....
.... if the double nerfed XP was un-nerfed.
pity the exp in these was dropped twice and hasn't been adjusted upwards in months.
pity the rewards in eveningstar are still btc.
pity the devs won't address this.
This bonus day choice reflects pretty clearly the gulf between developers/producers of this game and the players at large.
This is literally the last Bonus anyone would have asked for.
Why don't you do a poll to see what bonus days we would like?
NO ONE complains when it's loot or XP. But considering what a mess challenges are right now in terms of repeat-ability this was a poor, and some will argue, insulting choice for Bonus.

So we get bonus parts from Nov8 to Nov11, then on Nov12 the XP issue gets some attention. Kinda like.... poor planning? You might say? Making us "pick" one or the other, in a spending-playtime-on-it sense, doesn't come across as much of a bonus...Challenges
* NEW - The XP you can earn from completing star objectives in the Eveningstar Challenges after the first completion has been increased. Repeated star objectives now grant 25% of the base XP.
Still, I can appreciate trying to get more parts into players hands as some of the Eveningstar ones require ludicrous amounts of materials. I mean, if ransacking the chests out still doesnt get you enough parts, so you have to wait a week to get loot again while farming it.... thats probably too many parts needed. Gold Lions, I'm looking at you.
So take this as less a complaint, and more of a request to perhaps time a bonus like this better so it can say, coincide with the xp bump and promote people giving them another chance? Just an idea. Also, more gold lions please... trying to farm 1600 virtually assures ransack before having enough... and its just silly that ransacking the challenge still doesnt yield enough parts for a T3 combine. Thanks.
Not going to comment on which are better or run more often, as I'm certain that varies by server. On Sarlona, the opposite of what you say is the norm (frequent eveningstar lfms, virtually no cannith lfms), so I'm sure every server has its own norm.
But both kinds of challenge need XP help for sure, which makes it all the more annoying they would run a bonus right before a fix. Even if it is only a partial fix.
You don't get the highs without the lows. If every week was bonus XP or bonus loot then the community would just come to expect it is as another boring commodity.
Stop crying about challenge XP. Chars capped on challenge XP are gimps. Go kill something.
