Varr's all over. Sarlona Varrr getting the love currently.
It's now 11am PST and I'm counting 50 level 25 characters on Cannith. I'm sorry, but some of us like to sleep on occassion - as someone noted, 5am on a Monday morning is probably not the time to start crying DoooOOOoooMMmmmm!

Know your just lying to yourself inactively of the better players grew hugely recently and even the quits of good players that we all know and like and still do (Uri)
Yes web is a terr-bible raid, grinding out 20 completions was just worthless
the raid loot is just bad
My stop at cap on Kennyfails left me a decent bit disappointed at our server and tried to help it back up for a while and now am just back to TRing while Cannith hopefully reach's a point of where they are good and active

There are definitely peak and off times on Cannith, just as I imagine there to be on other servers.
Although, I have observed instances where, on Cannith, there might be 1-2 LFMs in a given level range, at the same time, there could be 6-8 in the same level range on Thelanis (which is probably the largest server).
Only Turbine knows for sure, but I would suspect that Cannith could probably easily absorb a server like Orien (another server which is always complaining about low populations), and probably end up just as large as Thelanis, for example, which does not experience any more lag than other servers do.
I think it's a fine concept, and would be a welcome influx of more players. It definitely can be hard to fill LFMs. I often play later in the day PST and finding enough folks for a quest that you can all agree on (especially in the dreaded 17th level range) can be a daunting task.
I see 67 now at "peak" time. Doesn't seem that much better.

I am curious to see what numbers Turbine could give us regarding server populations, even if it's just a %. From what I hear, this server and orien are the least populated compared to the other english servers. Wayfinder is a different story though...
I left Cannith because of the low population. Sure, every server has it's up's and down's when it comes to players online. But I couldn't take it any more on cannith. If you consider that I had to give up 5 characters, 2 of which were loaded with Greensteel, a few epic and holiday items, as well as exceptional favor amounts that were gained through quite a few guest passes(enough to unlock favored soul), a casual guild that I participated in for about a year, and even a TR character that I gave up at around level 14, some may argue that I took quite a lot for Cannith before I left. On the other hand, some may laugh, it's your call really.
But one thing is for certain: I am satisfied now at my new home on Aggro. It may not be the best since I can't find a LFG 24/7, but it is a HECK of a lot better than Cannith. Oh, and it happens to be where all my DDO adventures started. If anyone happens to be wishing to leave Cannith in search of a new home server, I would recommend Aggro. But it's your call in the end.
Here's a riddle for you: What do you call people who play the game for only a day and apparently know everything?
(Afaik both servers has the lowest population compared to others).
20 Level 25 is pretty good!
You should visit wayfinder where at this time there are 5! people in the level 20-25 range!!
And you think cannith needs a merge?

My objections have nothing to do with lag, population, lfms or the price of tea in china. They are about forcing me to pay more than I already have, to access what I have access to already and a forced modification of some of those character's names.
I don't post too much, mainly because i don't like arguing with people i barely know about aspects of a Game in a Virtual World (and be derailed into meaningless discussion), i leave that kind of thing for Real World xD. So if my way of thinking seems fine for you, i'm glad, if you fully disagree, its ok, you have your right to do it. In any case, the game is big enough to fit your playstyle whatever is it, and most of people on Cannith is probly mature enough to respect that as long as u don't disrespect their own way of playing.
I still don't get why people get annoyed by the fact that there isn't too many lvl 25 toons fooling around and willing to join PUGs. You folks know the actual "metagame" situation, so instead of complaining about it, do something to change your surroundings into something more of your own taste (without moaning to others). I will try to put some dumb examples:
* Heck, you feel lonely and unable to play your beloved quest/raid? gather up with your guildies! that is what guild is it for!.
* So your guildies are not interested on it? (or maybe not too much interest in lending you a hand to do it?) quit your guild! (j/k xD), well this is a social game no matter if you like it or not, so you can always make some friends outside the guild inner circle and met new people.
* No time or mood to do in-game mates? (why are you still playing a MMORPG then xD) PUG the heck out of that quest/raid!!, No Pug LFG Up?? be brave and make one yourself!!
* So Pugs are not fun because they are full of unexperienced and not ubber awesome people? (stop being elitist! xD) take it as a challenge for yourself!! teach by example!! (isn't the same as "babysitting teaching").
* You can't hangout with guildies or friends or puggers because you don't like to/able to/in the mood to; then make a Build that can solo stuff enjoy your loneliness (but don't cry about this game not being fun or about challenge later...).
Well i can continue going on and on, but i guess all can catch up the general idea, if you are not part of the solution...

Hi. I don't log on very much anymore because, like Sarnind, I'm pretty disappointed about the end game situation, but I can't help but feel that a server merge would help.
My server used to be booming with end game players, even the PUG scene pre-MOTU. It was easy to make and fill epic groups.
Now, I can't remember the last time I saw an Epic Elite anything on the LFM list, and the only raid anyone runs anymore is Shroud, and even then it's often shortmanned.
GL guys and see you around, hopefully they do a server merge so that the people who want to run end game content can make and fill groups for it. I know I would be playing more.
