Had a bit of a rude shock when I stuck sorc dilly on a low level half elf and equipped a sp ioun stone. I didn't get doubled sp (as I had been gleefully expecting). I asked around and found out that you only get a percentage of the sp increase if you splash (or dilettante). Fair enough. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one to have made that mistake.
Now, I'm considering swapping my helf cleric from pally dilly to Sorc. The end of the Sorc enhancement line says you get 10 dilly levels of the class. Will it give any boost to my actual sp separate from equipping items? I kind of expect not, but it never hurts to ask. If I do use a sp item with 10 Sorc dilly levels, what will the boost be? +50%? More? Less?
Edit: I meant to ask about both FvS dilly and Sorc dilly, but while writing the post it occurred to me that clerics and FvS spell lists overlap so there's no point in taking FvS dilly (except for possibe sp boosts off items). But the question still stands for those for which FvS dilly is a useful choice.
