Default Is there a way to debuff myself?

I know it's a wierd question, but here is the scenario: I'm trying to get the rare encounters in the heroic Stormhorns. The wiki says you must fail the perform check to get the named satyr Locrian to attack you.

The problem is my Perform score is: 2 ranks + 3 completionist + 5 charisma + 2 skill tome = 12, which is enough to pass the first test according to my experience.

I've taken off all my charisma items, all my skill items, but it seems that 12 is the minimum I can go. Losing ship buffs will get me to 11, but is there anyway I can debuff myself to get it to a score below 9?

To quote the Stormreaver (as far as I can see), "the best solution, the only solution" is to group up with someone with a low perform score and do it.

Great idea, hadn't thought of that. That will bring me down to 10. Also I was wrong, the wiki gives a 5-16 range to succeed, so if it truly is below 5 to fail, I'll need someones help.

Negative levels give a penalty to skill check, so do death penalties. also items that give neg levels for opposite alignment.

Keep going and dance for him more. While the first time is a lower check each subsequent time it gets higher.

In the end you will either get a nice buff from him or end up fighting. The trick is to keep dancing your two left feet will eventually show

Thanks for all the tips. The SF pots helped a lot

Although I was never able to fail the first dancing test, I failed the second. But the satyr only attacked in 1 out of 4 tries of failing the second test. Could be random, or you need to fail by a certain amount, I wasn't paying attention to the dice rolls

I believe he attacks on a critical failure (failing by 5 or more). Just a close fail might not get his hatred.

using a hireling and dying multiple times to get death penalty would be the easiest. -2save per DP.

Audience with the queen with a very low diplomacy can give you a lot of debuffs:
    From the wiki:

    Displeasure of the Queen
You failed the Diplomacy check. You receive no tea, and receive a -2 Penalty to all ability scores. You also are affected by one or more of the following debuffs:
    - You get transformed into a kobold.
    - The kobold disguise breaks as soon as you attack.
    - You are hit by arsenic poison.
    - You start dancing.

Also there is "loathing of the queen" involving arsenic poison, all ability scores reduced by 6 and possible further random de-buffs
