    Default No bonus to wisdom

I cant help but notice there is no race that has a bonus to wisdom. All other stats seem to be covered across the various races. I have no knowledge of PnP... Maybe there isnt meant to be? Cound someone clarify this for me? Thanks

There aren't any in PnP Core for the base races
There are many things like Aasimar (with a level adjustment)
and non-core (like the anthropomorphic bat (+6 WIS!))

Turbine doesn't like divines to be offensive casters though, so don't expect anything soon

They better add gnomes before aasimar, tieflings, and any other race. Gnomes or kobolds.

Levistis, Orcys, and Thirzax of the Dragon Blood Cult of Maguuma, GW2.

Seeing as they released druids, which are essentially offensive divine based casters you would presume they do like them... Just made me wonder upon rolling why there isnt a race thats best to start with bonuses as a druid, so i chose Dwarf for the extra CON options.

Its ashame they seem to have every stat covered and not this... im sure a bat wouldnt be the answer, despite the +6 to wisdom lol.

Gnomes would be fun... but what are their stat bonuses? INT?

    Gnomes have Con
    +2 Con -2 Str
    http://www.d20srd.org/srd/races.htm#gnomes

Aasimar or Tieflings would fit more with the theme of U14, whereas Gnomes don't have a place in DDO yet. Hopefully both Aasimar and Gnomes will come soon.

Aasimar get +2 WIS +2 CHA; and now that MotU has opened up the planes, adding them would make sense. Gray orcs get +2 STR +2 WIS -2 INT -2 CHA. I imagine there are other races with WIS bonuses, but I'm not up on all the PnP rules & lore.

I think there is a variant gnome that gets wis bonus

When I duel someone I like to dual wield. with my rouge wearing rogue.

This would be a win for people who want gnomes and for people who want +Wis
And would fit thematically with the underdark!
    -2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, -4 Charisma.

Svirfneblin are deep gnomes, and are enemies of the drow. They live in the underdark

Drawback: In PnP, they have a +3 Level adjustment, (Drow have a +2 level adjustment, and lose 4 points in their build)

Don't they have some special abilities that they could reduce or drop plus they could make them a 28 pt build like drow. Not that I would prefer them over regular gnomes but some people would

    Yes,
    http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/gnome.htm
    Probably dropping their dodge (4)
    and save bonus (+2)
would bring them down in power to something fairly reasonable

I like the idea of the Aasimar... I doubt they would ever bring them in though.

On the other hand... To keep all the gnome voters that there seem to be right now the dark gnomes would be a logical addition! I hope they take either into consideration.

Personally I would rather have regular gnomes but I have nothing against Aasimar after they bring in
    1. Shifters
    2. gnomes.

This. How about getting the core races (Gnome is core D&D, and Shifter & Changeling are core Ebberon) done before branching out into random other stuff like Aasimar?

Oh, and certain Shifters (Dreamsight) get a Wisdom bonus.

    1. Eladrins.. I want to wreck havoc with a flashlight too! Pretty sure they're kinda like Aasimars in Eberron.
    2. Shifters - one type can get wis bonus.
    3. Gnomes.. Even tho I hate them, but they're an entire nation in the Eberron lore.
    4. Kalashtar get wis bonus and so does the inspired.

Yep a gnome would have 5 pts in all stats but the rest of the points go to intelligence :P

Since it has no strength it could only run around in robes or rags, couldn't swing anything bigger than a butter knife but man could it fix and upgrade a warforged!

    :P:P:P
