It's a known fact that Gelatinous cubes melt in fear when confronted with an image of Bill Cosby holding a spoon.

It's widely believed that Gelatinous Cubes come in only one flavor - lime. However, the veracity of this fact is difficult to prove, since everyone who has ever tried tasting a Gelatinous Cube has been eaten by it.

Gelatinous cubes can smell mocking disbelief over their ridiculousness and find these foolish being to be delicious.

Gelatinous cubes are automatically granted the Force of Personality feat at level 1. Unfortunately they all have 0 charisma so have to rely on their force of eating anything instead to get by.

Gelatinous Cubes are known to take on traits of their owner and from time to time will duplicate into a character look alike.

    Default Tron

A gelatinous cube was originally cast in Tron, but it just ate the MCP and the movie was over, so instead they cast Bit (or, colloquially, the yes/no cube) so the show could go on.

As a secondary fact, this idea was actually stolen by the Tron producers because they'd seen a early cut of Return of the Jedi, when an unknown Wookie ripped the Emperor's arm off during a Dejarik game, and were subsequently replaced by Ewoks.

Remember how enemy bodies disappear after a while? They're being eaten by invisible Gelatinous Cubes.

The gelatinous cube is actually a distant relative of the gelatinous food products consumed by humans in an alternate universe, a universe in which the only known intelligent species are humans and turtles; it has decided to avenge its relatives and shows adventurers just what it is like to be engulfed by something that is much bigger than you!
