    Talking

    Well, my regular group and I are pros naming quests, npcs, traps, objects and explorer encounters.

    Some quests or storylines in the top of my head:

    Coalescence chamber = Monks' Eurodisney
    Monastery of the scorpion = Rogues' Disneyworld
    Delirium = Drunken beholders
    Running with devils = the eladrins
    The chamber of Raiyum = Carlinhos Brown (That's our nickname for Raiyum :P)
    Mired in kobolds = the dragoness
    All the quest line of Harbinger of Madness = Sissy Illithid
    The Shadow Crypt = Brother Cereza (cereza = cherry in spanish)
    Let Sleeping dust lie = the damn spiders
    Thernal = Babysitters
    Delera's = Gary Gygax
    Sentinels of Stormreach = Zombie Pirates or everything is better with pirates

    Si non confectus, non reficiat

    Due to the severe levels of alcohol damage to the memory centres of mine and my friends' brains we tend to have to describe quests before people remember which one someone is trying to talk about. Sadly this means that we tend to start with an echo of the way they named 'Friends' episodes........
    "Let's do 'The one with the..........'"
    Anyone who thinks that something can be 'foolproof' seriously underestimates the ingenuity of fools.....

    Bargain of Blood: (.)(.)
    epic Bargain of Blood*: ( . ) ( . )

    There's 6 walkups in gianthold. They are:
    Trolls
    Orcs
    Dwarves
    Cats
    Cows
    Hoboes

    Blockade buster is sip.

    Time is money = caves of joy.

    Coalescence Chamber = the most annoying one. (As in, let's start the Vale with the most annoying one.)

    Framework is Cows with Guns.

    Not really a nickname, but whenever someone suggests small problem, he gets told: I don't wanna; You can't make me.

    Madstone: Hurry the ol' man

    "Almost there, Hold on, just a little longer"

    Some are not quests but:

    The Pit: Soul Reaver 2
    Rainbow in the Dark: Alone in the Dark
    Mired in Kobolds: Dino Crisis
    House K: Crateria (Somehow the BGM reminds me of Super Metroid)
    The Marketplace: The Marketlag

    and...

    The Harbor: Yahoo Answers (Seriously, the kind of non related to DDO Q&A I read there sometimes... >.>)

    No mention of Caverns of Korromar or COK as we like to call it?

    Anyone for hard COK? Its a bit on the long side but I think we can handle it!

    I just beat the one-eyed monster at the end of COK...

    One time I saw a LFM for Irestone that said "The pirate one with lots of chest and ship BOOM!". It will forever be this to me.

    Great topic, the forums need more of these.

    For what it's worth, I have only 2 catagories:

    1. I hate that quest.
    2. I love that quest.

    "Thrash Arena" for one. Since they often get run together, I sometimes call the quests "Durk's and Garrison's" like some kind of specialty store.
