Default Wow you really boned warforged this update didn't you?

It's clear non-arcane WF are not welcome in Ebberon or FR.

-warforged healers friend needed a serious buff. ZERO reason to play a warforged melee due to immunities meaning nothing and little to no benefit. What happened instead?

BROKEN. It is now providing LESS benefit than it did before/should. With the level cap/hp increase healing amp matters even more than before, and suddenly healers friend is not only not buffed, but BROKEN? REALLY?

    -Changes to spell power

BROKEN. Devotion items are not providing the correct spell power. My main used to self heal for ~600pts per heal...now ~350. That is a huge difference. It makes healing warforged even harder than before.

    -Immunities

You didn't make things interesting and fun, now it is a pain in the A$$ as you just need to carry pots around. Even as a warforged.

    -Body feats

Now adamantine body is a good choice for most non-arcane builds. Trouble is, other races don't need to burn a feat to get decent AC. Warforged heavy armor builds DO, one more reason NOT to pick warforged.

    -Docents

Very few docents in new pack. 2 docents? Really?

    -Construct fortification on docents

WOW, now that AC is more useful to more builds, you decided to TAKE AWAY 3 AC and give WF...10% fortification. You know, for those 3 wf running around with a moderate fort item at level16+...

This will get me some hate. Some players see a warforged thread and don't actually read it, just assume it is about arcane WF, which don't need any buffs.

    Please, fix melee/divine warforged.

They really need to look at innate PRR in addition to the body feat, maybe greater than that provided by armor. If WF are the sturdy option that can take the beating, the answer isn't to improve healing amp, it's to give them a leg-up in soaking it up to begin with.

HF absolutely needs to be fixed. I've got a WF monk/kensai that I run in fire stance most of the time with Jidz / Claw and he's the only one with reasonable healing amp ... and that wasn't exactly trivial to get.

The two new named docents are meh, I'll still wear the unlocked quorforged docent or epic denieth docent over them.

W/f are an afterthought now. This was made clear when the devs didn't release any unique docents with house canith, and only added the ability to unlock the set bonuses after myself and others ranted in closed beta.

I would love to hear the rational behind switching +3 ac for 10% exceptional fort. Honestly, please someone explain it, i'm at a total loss.

My guess is most of the healing amp bugs are related to changing code to allow w/f druids no healing amp penalty in animal forms.

That said, the sooner healing amp gets fixed and made cheaper per tier, the better.

This. Very much this. Give us more DR. We're constructs for crying out loud.

In fact, scratch healer's friend. Replace it with an enhancement that gives stacking 15/adamantine DR per tier, but is only available at higher levels (14 for first tier?), so we can get some serious DR. Same 2/4/6 progression as the healer's friend, and same 3 tiers. Can still call it healer's friend even.

Right now, there's literally no reason to ever roll a WF that is not arcane. Hell, even half-orc arcanes aren't as gimp as WF melees, and WF get good melee enhancements...

Ed: Where was +3 AC switched to 10% fort? Is it reinforced plating?

yes, and it doesn't even scale with the old +1/2/3 reinforced plating, it's just a flat 10%

Well at least the healing amp is better than before.
It's an annoying bug, but at first heals would only hit for 1 hp or so and heal amp actually worked in reverse from what it should.

So instead of it giving you more hp, it gave less. I'm not defending them, but I can say they are in a LOT better position with this than the beta was, so it's improving.

So that's where my 135% is from. I was confused about that.

Super **** move though. "Hey, guys, we're going to make AC work now. Oh and WF, who already have a hard time getting good AC (and even harder time getting good heal amp) are getting their only AC advantage point removed."

The problem before update 14 (as far as I could tell) was that wf'd were supposed to be tougher to offset their healing penalty disadvantage, but the differenc in AC between a fleshie and a wf'd wasn't enough to offset the penalty.

i ran EE rift with my guildies on my WF stalwart defender.. 5 man party, 2 fvs, me, a sorc, and a kensei. one of the fvs's said he cried trying to heal me. i have healers friend 2, and DT 20% and 10%, 11% dodge (capped due to mithral body), 50 PRR, and around 95 AC. btw, i know they said AC means more in epic now, but it doesn't. 95 AC in epic elite might as well be 0.

    Default Meh

I'm giving them until the Update In August. I believe there'll be some WF love going on wit the enchantments based on Race rather than in class (or so I heard). If they don't give something promising back (to make up for poison) I'm going to TR my two WF's into Humans (I only play WF and Humans /: )

Btw /signed, I can't believe my Cleric with no real Epic Items was running with more AC, PPR and overall stats than my multiTR'd semi-fulled equiped Monk.

I'm not quite so angry about it all, but most of the original post here is my feeling too. WF do feel a bit like the "grubby cousin" of late.

Your post is a bit ranty but true.

You have to pay to play a wf but its not a benefit.

    - no access to dragonmarks
    - unable to use about 1/3 of items in game
    - rust monsters do special damage to you
    - must spend a feat to have heavy armor, even if you are a fighter
    - more difficult to heal

I think the only benefit is a built in deathward and underwater action item.

I still luv my wf characters, I have 4 but its more of a drawback than a perk and you pay for it.

Also: absolutely no class specific docients, this bites in particular for WF monks, who have no way to get reinforced fists other than the Sentinels bracer's, but there's others who suffer similarly.
Currently levelling: Lainnu, WF Arteficter 18, Khyber, Leader of House Tarkanan
Jhankgix, WF lvl 21 monk, Grand Master of Flowers,Khyber, House Tarkanan
    Recovering Altaholic.

Well since high AC is less useful now, because of the AC scaling, and since monsters can take out some of you fortification, I really prefer this way...
