Please respond asap with your answer.
EDIT: Also I'm CST so, i may not be able to make some sessions depending on the time.
    Hi, and welcome

Three of us have managed to get together so far, a barbarian, a rogue & a cleric, so an arcane would be ideal, but bring whatever you'd enjoy most. If you're available today, we're going to try to get together around 11:30 (PST), and we're 2nd level, so a character that's finished Korthos would work well. Our schedules are a little strange at the moment because it's summertime and we seem to be busy during the weekends, but eventually we expect to have a regular meeting time during the day on Saturday or Sunday.

    Default Room for another player?

    Speo and crew,

I would like to join your group, if you'll have me. I like your advertised playing style (non-zerg, light RP, strategy) and I've only started playing this year as well. I haven't played on Sarlona, so I'm open to filling any class gaps you guys currently have. I'm a premium player with the Underdark expansion and many adventure packs. I'm a team player and happy to quest by any guidelines you require. I just enjoy grouping with like-minded folks instead of searching in vain for PUGS that don't zerg or ruin quests.

Currently I my only group commitment is with a static on Wednesday night. The weekend daytime meeting you are coordinating sounds good (I'm EST).

Have a great weekend, hope to hear from you guys.

Hey are we meeting today? and am I invited? I'm sorry that last week was cut short, as my laptop ran out of charge, but I'm not sure if I am a permanent member of the group. I'll be on for about an hour, to see if anyone comes online.

We didn't have anything scheduled for this weekend, because Quizzie is away, but if people want to set a time to get together and get some of the new players started (Quizzie, Speo & I have finished Korthos), I'd be happy to join in.

Hey I like the way this is shaping up. Good to see you back Jackel, shame you had trouble but by all means throw out some times that are good for you and we will see what we can get going on; as has been said the summer is a little wonky but we should be running on schedule come fall.

And Mr. Trolls - how nice to see you drop by. I find the work that you and the rest of the THAC0 group do interesting and I think you would fit in pretty good with our crew. Your appearance here reminds me that I have a bit of a question for the group:

Difficulty levels - if we are a full party of five, are we going to be just walking through stuff on normal? Is there a way to open on other difficulties without first completing (I think VIPs can open any DL on first run?). I don't know anything about the expansion changes but my understanding is that the game, at least before the expansion, is fairly challenging for a full group after the lower levels. Is this still the case?

As for play over the next week: monday and tues are shot for me, after that though anytime before 11pm on most days will work for me. I'm also around late nite from time to time if anyone is looking to meet up. I will be playing on either a cleric named Deordroed or a mage called Rainiar usually for a little while after 10 pm.

Arianrhod is a VIP, he can unlock any difficulty for us. I suggest running the highest difficulty we can (the difficulty where we fail dungeons on first attempt in about 10% of the time). I think we could start on Hard, but we'll see how the group shapes up. Normal seems too easy so far.

No problem, hope to see you next time. Have you finished Korthos yet?

Sounds like a good way to go with the difficulty level. I thought normal a bit too easy also, I like something between multiple party wipes and total cake walk.

On the topic of class. As has been said we have a Barb, Cleric and a rogue but I also have a wizard levelled up and ready to go so if anyone is really keen on taking up that role I will switch. Looks like we are going to be five though so really there is a lot of room for all kinds of combinations.

oh ya, I hit level three with my rogue last session but have not yet levelled, where is everyone else with that?

I still have one action point missing to level 3.

When will we be joining the guild? Now? Or after we're a complete and stable group?

OK, Wednesday at 11, I can do that.

I can open elite, yes. Elites are currently a bit out of whack, which is why I was hesitant to try them, but if you guys don't mind dying occasionally while we find out what the right challenge is for us, we can try elite from the start. As for whether normal will be too easy for us - it depends on the quest, really. Even at the same level, some quests are a lot harder than others (usually those marked "extreme challenge", and having a full group causes scaling, which increases the difficulty somewhat over solo/duo/trio.

I'm curious about the guild too - kind of leaving that up to Speo as the one who made first contact.

Cyrean is also ready to level, just holding off till the rest get to that point.

Today's meeting was unsuccessful. Speo, you didn't notice, did you?

    So... Saturday? Or Monday?

Here is Gelora's build, suggestions are welcome. I know it's not a highest DPS build around, but it gives me a lot of hitpoints and skillpoints, which I like.

    Thumbs up Druid sound good?

I rolled up a Druid on Sarlona and enjoyed playing him on Korthos. He is at 2nd level. I would like to have him join up. He should be able to fill a support role with spells like entangle and back up the Barbarian in melee with bear form (and his two wolves).

If Druid doesn't fit, NO WORRIES. If you don't want to play the wizzie, Speo, I'll grab it.

I generally am not available during weekdays during daytime (6AM-6PM). Any other time (except Wed nights), hit me up and I'll see if I can meet you. I'm on EST.

I think a druid would be a fun addition to the group. If Jackel sticks with the wizard, we'll have a pretty solid group shaping up

The weekday meetings are mostly just opportunistic, since we keep having people not available on weekends and have been wanting to get started; I think we're still planning to go with Saturday daytime (something like 11am pacific time?) as our "standard" meeting time, just haven't managed to actually get together at that time yet

What's the druid's name? I could add it to my friends list

Glanced over Gelora's build, looks fine to me. We'll just have to make sure the wizard doesn't plan on hypnotizing everything or there could be trouble with all those glancing blows

Default Razorbad Oak Blood's the name, whomping abominations is the game

Razorbad is my druid on Sarlona. With any luck, he'll be third level come time to meet the rest of the party (in the harbor?)

I'm fleshing out his background, but beyond his druidic nature, he harbors a particular hatred for undead and other unnatural things (constructs, golems, and anything else "manmade"). He is not afraid to jump into the fray, whether in human or animal form.

Add him as a friend and we'll get together and slay some beasties.

Do any of you play with voice chat? Text only? Either or? I'm flexible.

Cool, I'll add him to my friends list. We may need to set up a RP session for his first meeting with Cyrean (my warforged cleric) - that could be a pretty entertaining encounter

So far we've been using text only, but I do have a headset and am willing to use voice chat if anyone wants to (I think some of us don't have mic yet though).

Hey guys, sorry to have missed Monday. For the rest of the summer before 11am is going to be the most likely spot for me buuuuut, I am off on Monday so I could sneak on for a bit some time that day....

I like the idea of having a druid around and I am also keen to see how things play out between Cyrean and Razorbad. I do have a Wizard that I am quite fond of but unless someone is dying to rogue it up I will stick with Teranaret.

I am planning to focus heavily on traps and I am hoping that trap crafting will give us a bit of a tactical edge. I've never used traps before, Anyone here have any opinions on how useful traps are? Your Barb looks lethal Quizzie, most excellent.

Jackel, let us know if you want to take on a spell caster, would make for a very balanced group.

So far we have only used text chat but the plan is to use mics in some capacity once the whole group has a headset. We may or may not do voice rp but I think we are all keen to give it a try (and check out morphvox is you are looking around for cool rp tools).

I keep forgetting about the guild. I don't recal if one of my alts has invite privileges or not but I will get in touch with the guild and get that going on. Seems like it would be a good home for us.

I would love to have a druid bear backing me up in melee.
We will be a pretty diverse group, roleplay-wise and class-wise.

So... Monday, 11, I'll be there.

MorphVOX sound very fun. It should be mandatory for those who plan on playing a different gender than they are. I will hopefully buy a mic next week.

I think we should have a "first contact" roleplay meeting with all five of us. And that we all should have our character's personality and history at least sketched up by then.

I am very curious about what common goals and reasons to travel together will our characters find. (any new ideas?)
Looking forward to meeting you all...

    Thumbs up Roleplay challenge!

A druid that doesn't like soulless things, embarking on adventures with a spiritual warforged. Talk about an odd pairing! We may need to intertwine our origin stories- maybe just recent events that forced the two into a shared quest. I'll send Arianrhod a private message to talk more about it.

I'll enjoy writing his background and developing his character traits as much as planning the character progression. I've been gradually learning more about Eberron as a setting (I'm a Greyhawk vet who read a few Forgotten Realms books, but nothing newer).

    Default Difficulty level

Late response, but I agree that normal is too easy. Elite should be what we try first, in my opinion, so thanks to the VIP players!

So... when's the next meeting? This week I can play any day after 11 am, except for Thursday and/or Friday. Maybe sooner than 11, if really needed.

Speo is available on Monday, right? What about the rest of you?

I bought a microphone, we can start voice-chatting from Tuesday (that is when I get my repaired laptop back, the borrowed one doesn't have a mic port).
