Okay, I love my Arti. But, one of my most important rules as any of my casters is...
Make sure the large meat sacks in front of you with bulging thews that wield big weapons and turn most things that get near them into paste get lots of buffs to help them do just that. Because if they and all their hp are dropped. You will not be far behind them.
As for Bio's, the only time I read them or when I've noticed someone has read Skirmish's is when the party is just hanging out and we're waiting on someone to arrive so we can start a raid or something similar. Usually we'll comment on them or something similar to kill time. Tough, once and a while, when just hanging out in the tavern waiting for a friend to log in, I'll randomly check a few out. But, usually, there's far more interesting things to do that make sure to read each and every person's bio to make sure of where they stand on buffing and such.
The exception I will make is that I have run with a few nice people who made sure to put in their bio that they were deaf, so turning their mic's on would be kinda pointless. The one guy I pug'd with would answered in party the first 10-20 someone asked him why he didn't have the mic on. Then, he and/or the rest of the group that already knew would just tell whoever joined the pug to just read his bio and keep moving instead of explaining it over and over. Was quite nice and ended it quickly. Any and all questions they had were answered and we could move on and ignore any other issues they had with it.
