    Just wanted to say that having all the quotes in the abilities is really awesome and makes fatesinger stand out compared to the other destinies.

    Couple bugs I noticed:
    -aria isn't being instant-sang like a spontaneous song should
    -siren's isnt being afected by lingering song enhancements
    -display shows that primal/martial/divine echoes need masquerade has a requirement when they don't
    -new descriptions rock
    wait, that last one wasn't a bug was it...

    Something to be looking for in the Xpack will be a switch between Masquerade and Echoes of the Ancestors: Divine.

    Masquerade will be Tier 5 and Echoes of the Divine will be Tier 4. This will mean that all Echoes will be twistable (with no prereqs), and Masquerade will be a signature Fatesinger-only enhancement (also with no prereq).

    And a big thank-you for all the feedback through closed beta and from here on out. There's still a bit of balancing and debugging to go, particularly on the Echoes and the Fragments (and some light tweaks elsewhere), but we are well-positioned now, and we're all really excited about the upcoming release.

    I'm running into a bug with Fatesinger right now. It's giving me Inspire Courage, but it's not giving me any songs. My perform skill is also staying at "N/A", which I think is part of the problem.

    I'm encountering the same thing, I'm guessing it's because I didn't take perform at any of the 21-25 level ups; the song does say it needs 3 trained ranks to use.

    I'm also not getting songs back at shrines.

    What's the reason for Tailwind to be ranged only btw?

    Wasn't Echo stance LD supposed to give +1hit/dmg to IC?

    Dirge is still in the old version of it (2 second tick, 12 second duration) as opposed the the version breca proposed (3 second tick, 18 second duration).
    Just to note, technically speaking, dirge doesn't really have a cooldown at tier 3. The actual cooldown is shorter then the time it takes to sing it, so there's not much point to having it.
    May need someone to confirm it, but to me it didn't seem like aria was affecting dirge or chord.

    This makes a lot more sense, nice work

    Ah, and for those of you who weren't in the closed beta, all the songs work on bosses (exept for the mez from sirens, the damage portion still hits). That includes chains (bound fate) and all it's effects.

    * Gain a +1 Wisdom, a +2 AC while Tumbling and a +1 to all saving throws. If you are centered, you gain a 5% bonus to your total AC. You may only activate this ability if you already have ki.
    * Gain a +1 Dexterity, a +2 to saving throws vs. Traps and a 1d6 Sneak Attack damage bonus. In addition, every time you are hit, you have a 5% chance of being affected by Lingering Shadows for 4 seconds.     Echoes of the ancestor: Divine (required 16 - Prereq: Masquerade) (1 rank - 2 AP - 1 song): (Passive) Stance: Either
    * The songs of legend fill your soul. You are eternally inspired by the radiance of divinity. Gain a +1 Wisdom, a +15 to your maximum spell points, a +3 Jump, a +4 to Fortitude saves vs. Disease, and +20 Spell Power when casting Positive Energy spells.

    None of the enhancements actually require a song.

    Anyone not part of the closed beta, please keep in mind that the quoted section of Nivarch's Destinies compilation does NOT include many changes that address most of the problems existent in the selection.

    Breca has done a fantastic job on the Destiny, as well as keeping us regularly apprised of the details.

    Can it be made so that effects activated by Fascinate (Masked Ball) should also be activated by the Virtuouso's Enthrall?

    Fixes in the last couple days (which will appear in the next update):

    There is a known bug (and it's a bad one) in which non-Bards taking Fatesinger are getting no songs, or having their Inspire Courage disappear when they purchase a new enhancement. Fixed.

    Harmonic Resonance: This currently is not working in the game. Fixed. Now creatures have a 10% chance to take a stacking sonic vulnerability when struck.

    O Fortuna: was incorrectly displaying 3rd rank bonuses at rank 1. This was really a text bug. Fixed.

    Bound Fate: Grants vulnerability to all magic types.

    Autogrants: now also add +3 Sonic Resistance per tier.

    Songs do not require Perform. A character from any class may step into Fatesinger and...sing!

    Damage in Dirge is not adding correctly. Take another look at the tooltip and the actual damage...

    Fatesinger's Repertoire and Harmonic Resonance trade a couple abilities. Fatesinger's Repertoire gains +1 Arcane caster level (Harmonic loses it). Repertoire loses the ability to cast spells without material components (Harmonic Resonance gains it).

    Majesty is beefed up a bit to reflect its capstone status: Gain +1 to your effective Arcane caster level and a +1 to hit. You also gain a +2 to the effective level of your Enchantment/Charm spells and a +10 to the Spell Power of your Sonic, Light and Positive spells. Special Effect: Enemies that strike you also have a 5% chance to become blinded by your glory (in addition to other effects), with no saving throw.

    Turn of the Tide: tweaked to: Expend a Song to activate. Turn of the Tide grants a full BAB, +3 to hit, +40% damage, DR 15/-, a +4 Charisma, and deals +5d10 +75 Sonic damage and +5d10 +75 Light damage per hit. (This magical damage does not affect Bosses.) Finally, while under the effects of Turn of the Tide, and you cannot fail a Will save on a roll of 1 if you would otherwise have saved.

    Echoes of the Shadowdancer: was not activating correctly. Fixed.

    Echoes of the Ancestors: Divine. This could not be purchased. Fixed.

    Fragment Songs: These add to Inspire Courage. Rank 1 grants only you a bonus. Rank 2 Grants you and your friends an additional bonus.

    Fragment of the Song: Clarity: This is a tier 5 add-on to Inspire Courage that came in on the weak side. It now has cumulative bonuses with Inspire courage with the following effects:
    Rank 1: When you Inspire Courage, Fragment of the Song: Clarity adds to your Inspire Courage, but it affects only you. Your spells cost 5% less to cast. You also gain a 5 bonus to your general Spell Power, a +3 Concentration and +15 temporary Spell Points.
    Rank 2: When you Inspire Courage, Fragment of Clarity extends to following Morale bonuses to you and your friends (in addition to your personal bonuses from Rank 1): an additional -5% to Spell cast cost, a +3 Concentration +15 temporary Spell Points.

    Fragment of the Song: Valor: The melee sibling of Clarity, Valor has also been beefed up to:
    Rank 1: When you Inspire Courage, Fragment of the Song affects only you, in addition to all Inspire benefits that grant bonuses to your friends. For the duration, you benefit from a 4% Competence bonus to your melee attack speed, a 10% chance to place a stacking +10% Electrical vulnerability on your opponent, and a +15 HP Competence bonus to your Temporary HP.
    Rank 2: When you Inspire Courage, Fragment of Clarity extends to following Morale bonuses to you and your friends (in addition to your personal bonuses from Rank 1): a +15 Morale bonus to Temporary HP, and a +4 Intimidate and a +1 to hit.


    Echoes Stances (mutually exclusive). You don't need levels in these Destinies to take them. Instead, you are inspired by their songs of legend...

    Exalted Angel:
    Gain a +1 Charisma, a +20 to your maximum spell points, a +3 Jump, a +4 to Fortitude saves vs. Disease, and +20 Spell Power when casting Positive Energy spells. Finally, your Inspire Courage grants an additional +1 to hit and +1 save vs. Fear.

    Draconic Incarnation:
    Gain a +1 Charisma, a 25 to your maximum spell points, a +1 Natural Armor and a +2 to your saves vs. Poison. You also gain an additional 7 Spell Power to Acid, Cold, Electric and Fire spells. Finally, you gain a +20% bonus to the duration of your Songs.

    Legendary Dreadnought:
    Gain a +1 Strength, +10 to your maximum Health, +1 to the DC's of all combat Feats, a +1 to hit, and an extra Action Boost per rest. In addition, your Inspire Courage grants an additional +1 to hit and +1 damage.

    Grandmaster of Flowers:
    Gain a +1 Wisdom, a +2 AC while Tumbling and a +1 to all saving throws. You gain a +2 to your Concentration, a +2 to Balance and a 2% Dodge bonus. Last, your Inspire Courage grants an additional +2 to saves vs. Fear.

    Fury of the Wild:
    Gain a +1 Constitution and +25 to your maximum Health and a +2 to all Fortitude saves. If you have Rage, your Rage grants you an additional +1 Strength while raging. You also have a +3% chance to trigger weapon effects on glancing blows. Finally, your Inspire Courage grants an additional +1 damage and +1 to your saves vs. Fear.

    Shiradi Champion:
    The songs of legend fill your soul. You are eternally inspired by the lords of the wild.\\n \\nGain a +1 Dexterity, +5 Spot, +2 Listen and +2 Diplomacy. Your attack speed with bows and thrown weapons is 10% faster. Finally, you gain a +20% bonus to the duration of your Songs.

    Magister
    Gain a +1 Intelligence, a +1 to Use Magic Device, a +2 Concentration, a +2 Spell Penetration bonus to your spells, a +2 to the DC's of your offensive wands and +25 to your maximum Spell Points. Finally, your a 20% bonus to the duration of your Songs.

    Unyielding Sentinel
    Gain a +1 Charisma, a +1 to all saving throws, a 2/- DR Bonus to blocking, and a +2 AC bonus to blocking. Your Inspire Courage grants a +1 to hit and +2 to saves vs. Fear. If you possess an Aura of Good, that grants an additional +2 to all saves vs. fear as well.

    Shadowdancer
    Gain a +1 Dexterity, a +2 to saving throws vs. Traps and a 1d6 Sneak Attack damage bonus.     Yes but didn't make it into the last build and since it was still some WIP I didn't include it into the post.

    No enhancement cost a max song usage (contrarily to what is still written on the description of some enhancement on the beta build). However some enhancements consume a song.

    This is an excellent question, and one that we can revisit in the Heroic update.

    Incidentally, Intoxicating Presence will affect Vermin, if you have Music of the Spider Queen. When we merge the Heroic classes to their new trees, it would follow that Music of the Dead and Music of the Makers will follow suit.

    Really good job on this destiny Breca. I am very excited to try these on my bards now. Yes I said bards with an 's'. It will do much better for my warchanter and spell singer.
