over the last days, when I opened up my very first few LFMs, I came to the conclusion that the available possible maximum text length [text string length] in the LFMs is far too short for a good description of the own group.
I think that's what made people heavily use abbreviations there (like "BYOH", for example).
Personally, I believe that this text string length needs to be expanded. Seriously.
I believe that the fine-tuning of group descriptions might lead to better understanding of what the group is about by possible soon-to-become-members, so to say.
And for that, the text length needs to be expanded.
What also is seriously needed, imho, is to make the "create new grop" indow so that it can be expanded itself by dragging its borders. It is just too small right now, far too small.
It looks as if someone has desperately tried to cram everything into a tiny window. It just looks ugly. Too much information within a too tiny window.
These two things imho really need to be done. If there is time, then please include both within the "autogrouping project", as long as you work with it. I think that both things shouldn't take too much time and effort, especially since the "social window" as such already can be expanded using mouse-dragging/pulling, and the expansion of the text string length vlue might perhaps just require a re-building of the database, but not too much work apart from that, I almost assume.
