    Default glancing blows vs twitch

Just need some more recent feedback on this topic, acorting to Vanshilars speed index.

two handed fighting has 99.9 hits per min, vs 118 twitch?
i think that is one of the more recent speed indexes and is from 09-19-2010.

    is this still acurate?

doubt it, thats why i ask here.

Yes. With the exception of the crossbow, no weapon speeds have been changed since that thread was made and compiled.
DDO has music? Yes, take a listen!
Shuriken, the most potent weapon in the game when used in the right hands.

Given that your question has already been answered...

Just an fyi: twitch stopped being viable on builds that took THF feats when they nerfed GTHF. Players no longer deal glancing blows while moving; in fact for a good half second after you stop moving you won't see any.

Twitch is still good to do if for whatever reason you don't take the THF feats and yet can afford the -4 penalty to attack.

i'll have to test to be certain, but iirc jump-twitching worked last i checked (though it was a much lower speed increase, you still get glancing blows).

Jump twitching results in 50% glancing blows (same as if you don't jump twitch) and has a slower attack rate than just standing still (as you miss out on the very fast third attack animation). Overall it's terrible.

huh, could've swore jump twitch gave some slight benefit to attack speed at least with certain weapons (also, on a side note, with GTWF it's actually 75% glancing blows).
