    Default Possible Monk build?

    was wondering if this splash type monk would be viable to get some fighter past lives done, any feedback would be appreciated since this toon is one i would like to stick with then try to figure out a pure build or something to stay at 20 cap with, dont have alot of gear laid out yet, but i have had a +3 supreme tome laying around since last sale and would love to use it , anyway, i would like to have some sort of decent DC to stunning fist, while having some decent AC/survivability while working my past lives., any critique is welcomed.

    This build would be helped by either taking three more or one less monk level. As is, you miss out on any tier 2 pre...for what you want, I would say 12 monk 8 fighter would get you much more benefit (stances, ninja spy 2, and other good things).

    Well since you want fighter past lives you'll have to go 12/8 fighter monk, also since your going fighter lower dex drop weapon finesse and go strength build since you don't need such a high dex for monk stance. I'd recommend earth stance.
    I feel at home in the darkness, when its just me and my blades...when the hunter takes over!

    11/9 splits work well with ranger/monk. 12/8 works better with fighter/monk. I know you want ToD, but Kensei II is going to provide better sustained DPS and tactical DCs. You'll still get NS I, all the dark elemental curses and 2D6 wraps thanks to the monk PL.

    I'd consider re-stating to 16/14/15/8/16/8 and taking the first three levels as fighter with Toughness, WF:Bludgeoning, Rogue Dilly, Stunning Blow and Dodge as your feats. When your +1 tomes kick in at 3, go monk 4-9 and finish out however you'd like. You can crush mobs levels 1-3 with a greataxe.

    Missed the part about past lives...yeah, 12 fighter/8 monk would be better, with much more str.

    Awesome, ty for the input, ill put it into consideration and re-arrange properly , yeah i wanted ToD for that instant 250-500 dmg as ki permits, and some decent AC and DC from wisdom and such, but the forums havent steered me wrong so ill make the proper adjustments and try it out.
