    Default Request a 36pt "stealthy" WF Dark monk

    Ok, little background.. working on completionist currently..
    Done Arti and FvS now I'd like to try monk (yes I know the past lives don't help, i don't care)

    The build has the following requirements.

    * It must be a warforged
    * It must be a dark monk
    * It needs decent stealth for sneaking about solo (as I want to experience the stealth aspect of DDO)
    * It doesn't need to be epic viable as it'll be TR'd soon after hitting 20
    * It can't have dumped wisdom as I want a viable DC on my special attacks while leveling.

    I've eaten a +2 all stat's tome, and its a 36pt character..
    (I've got vamp stonedust handwraps banked for later of course too, and some crafted stuff for lower level)

    Any ideas ?

    Put points into move silent, and hide, with concentration....go typical dark monk path, ninja and ninja spy II...points into wisdom, take weapon finesse....

    Maybe even splash 2 rogue levels for search, open lock, disable device.

    thats all i can really think of, it would be typical dark monk ninja build, just with hide and move silent getting points put into them.

    Just want to mention that "Spot" is an important skill for sneaking around. Although with a decent Wisdom and Spot +15 item, you can get by most of the time.

    Yea, couple things I'd change;
    Put levels into strength, you can obtain a good wis score for mink DCs and they will work on most quests elite as your leveling; ecsprcially stunning fist get a bonus stun item, wraps.

    Don't go elegant crane IV, stop maybe at crane II, use the APs somewhere else.

    Lower wis to 14, make str a 16.

    With ship, +6 item, enhances and +2 exceptional still have 34 wis, which gives a +12 on DCs. Plus with PA and imp Dundee you want a higher str.

    Isn't the point of imp sunder for monks the -3 fort save stacking debuff (which happens regardless of save)
    So you open with it and then Stunfist/Touch of Death and laugh at the result?

    I'll see what I can do with a STR build, but I'd like to have a high AC for once (none of my other lives have had a decent AC)
    Less crane is a good plan though.. can definitely find something else nice to take

    Oh your going AC, so do it the way you had in planner. Maybe want to consider weapon finesse because monks tend to have problem hitting things with PA on; and in grandmaster of storms you will have +4 dex.

    My monks first life was dex/wis AC build, just with regular gear I had a very good AC, was 68-71 with ship buffs.

    The imp sunder thing also: I'm thinking end game it's harder to land should be fine elite questing.

    Thanks for the tips, shall fit in finesse and see how things go..
    first up a month of farming on my 20 FvS before I have the DDO points to TR
