    Default AA solo epic Lords of Dust - no hireling - no ship buffs - flawless - all optionals

    Oops i did it again... I decided to test a new bow and went in epic Lords of Dust. I got a bit carried away and accidently finished it lol. I didnt ship buff myself, didnt bring a hireling and all i had for heals was my epic Hammer of Life and purely awesome cure light wounds spell from 1 lvl of cleric which i have (didnt even bring cure serious wounds pots, not to mention SF pots lol). That 1 lvl of cleric also allowed me to purify the altars and get an extra chest

    Cleric gives me a bit more than just ability to get Mental Toughness but yeah, that was the main reason to get it.
    The bow i was testing was an alchemical longbow earth > water, which actually turned out to be less useless than i expected.

    Nice job on the solo!

    I found it amusing that you did it in 41 minuttes wich is exactly the time it took for me to do it (on a divine, so no achievement there)

    I think this is a fantastic achievement mate, one thing is to solo epics with FvS/Cleric/Sorc/Wiz and another is with a melee toon... In your case your a ranged toon wich puts the achievement - IMO - in another level! As someone who takes proud on myself for my builds and fan of ranged characters, I would really love to know your build!

    Either way, big congratz and a +1 to you sir, you have my respect

    Thats the current build of my AA. Its made just to maximize ranged DPS. I didnt plan for it to be super self sufficient. There is a funny story behind that 1 lvl up in DEX i got lol. I was sure i had a +3 DEX tome b4 i TRed, but it turned out to be a +3 STR instead. I had to put 1 lvl up in DEX to get enough of it to take Improved Precise Shot. Overall, with this little change, there is no difference in what i planned this build to be.

    As I mentioned, this build isnt really super self sufficient, which doesnt stop me from soloing quite a few of epic quests. There is 1 trick to it: kill mobs before they start hitting you lol.

    Yeah, my archer monk only has CSW pots... I didn't bother with UMD (probably should have), and I don't have SF pots on him yet....

    Yet, he does pretty well anyway, even in epics... When soloing, a good archer doesn't take a lot of damage... You can't kite like crazy in a group, but when solo, you can backpedal as much as you want...

    And my guy is monk/ranger/fighter... Abundant step plus monk speed plus ranger sprint boost means he's pretty good at running away, er I mean, keeping the bad guys at range.

    Yeah, i have a few TR builds prepared for my AA and similar build to urs is one of them. Just getting a few completions of some raids and im gonna experiment with AA builds that i made so far and see which one is worth being my final build.
