    I see its a refernece post, But i'll comment anyway

    - No UMD on a sorc is a waste of a super powerfull ability
    - Mental Toughness is so worthless on a sorc ... please do NOT take this
    - Quicken is not really needed on a human build (even on a WF it is debatable)
    - You will want empower earlier to use for free with SLA's
    - Extend is not worth it seeing as how feat starved sorcs are.
    - Spell penn feats are important if you are trying to use any instakills
    - No reason to go Lawfull Good, Neutral is the way to go IMO.

    I would choose feats as follows: (keeping your original evocation build)

    1 Toughness
    1 Extend (swap to empower at 12) NOT FREE SWAP
    3 SF (evocation)
    6 Maximize
    9 Heighten
    12 GSF (Evocation)
    15 Spell Penitration
    18 Skill Focus UMD (swap to Greater Spell Penn once you get gear for 39 UMD) FREE SWAP

    Any reason to leave extend active instead of empower at level 6?
    Extend seems only mildly useful on sorcs, and at 6th level you get SLAs (which you want maximized and empowered at all times). I'd switch right before taking 6th level (or before getting enough AP for savant class).

    ...Planning a human sorc -> WF sorc TR.
