    Chronoscope - Dr Who.

I suspect they started with the old joke about the market tent being bigger on the inside and then ran with it for the timetravel story.

Tremas - Tremas of Traken a character in Dr Who back in the Tom Baker era. He had his life energy stolen by the Master who them assumed his identity for a time.

"Klaatu Barada Nikto" is also said by the Kobold Shaman in RR.
    UDR Loot Rules:
    1) No griefing people for pulling loot that dropped in their name
    2) When rolling, classes for which the item is "useful" get +10 to the roll
example: Wiz and Barb both roll on a Torc, the barb saying "I'm TRing into an arcane next week"
Wiz gets +10 on his roll

Adorgar, undead specter in Caverns of Koromor who guards a doorway. "A door guard". Or maybe a developer who was lazy with name creation.

    ok leme explain.

    shroud part 4:

    imagine you are harry.

now imagine there are adventureres swarming all around you, and all you can do is throw rocks at them, the blades circleing in are just like in asteroids where the roids used to spiral in to you.

harry warping in and out as the roids circle in is just as if he either lost a life or the time ran out and he got to the next lvl.

just put your self in harrys perspective and you will see why its asteroids.

    Shroud part 5:

we rarely see this these days but if you take long enough to kill hary blades appear, they follow a distincty pattern of movement - exactly like centipede - imagine the lines of blades are just like the sections of the centipedes body.

just like in centipede if you strike the middle of the line it detaches and now the 2 lines split off in seperate directions. of course in ddo its the centipede of blades that strikes you

    let me attempt a diagram:

    [] [] [] []

    _____
    |
    <____|

    [] |---| [] [] |---| []

EDIT: formatting of diagram di not work.. grrr.
It could also be argued that its representative of space invaders, but as the lines split if you get struck by blades im fairly sure its supposed to be centipede.

I have no idea why people say part 3 is frogger, id love to hear what im missing there (unless its sarcasm because of jumping into the pool all the time)

Like in eye of the storm? How so? Eye of the titan is the way you see the past unfolding... through the eye of the titan. Unless you want to connect Stormreaver with that... you see? If you want you can prove everything

they're talking about the part where you have to run around the outside to get to the various rooms and blades (which are kinda like cars) come running down the hallways, but don't cover the entire thing. as in frogger, where you try to avoid the trucks etc, you try to avoid the blades.

personally, i suspect it was just someone trying to add something to do when you were going from room to room, and since they had blades in various other parts they decided to just put them there, but i can somewhat see where they're coming from.

I tried to read the entire thread and I didn't see this one mentioned...

In "Prove Your Worth" if you free the kobold, Meeble, you get to fight a pirate named Fezzik, which was Andre the Giant's character in "Princess Bride".

I did Haywire Foundry earlier today for favor and one of the warforged minibosses started saying, "One of us, one of us." He didn't last so long, so I don't know if he would have started going, "Gooble-gobble" but I still thought of the movie "Freaks".

Very Nice! I like the missing bits to things I thought.

I know the Zero Wing reference was caught, but I'll leave this here:

Also, kudos to the guys who pointed out the music in the Vale quests. I haven't played with DM voice or game music on since right about when I started playing, so I never heard that!

and this part: The gnomon is the part of a sundial that casts the shadow. Gnomon (γνώμων) is an ancient Greek word meaning "indicator", "one who discerns," or "that which reveals." makes it the best name that npc could get if you think of his storyline

A lot of the pirates in DDO are named after real pirates. Rackams trial in 3BC, Mad Anne in Irestone.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Bonny

There are lots of others. Also, it might be the same music as in the vale, but one of the songs that play in the Crafting Halls is a lot like the intro to Mr Crowley.
