    Default Unarmed Pali Past Life 12 Pali/7 Monk/1 Arti

    **NOTE: this build is not intended to stay at 20 just wanted some opinions to see if i was completely crazy**
    primary goal of the build is to get a paladin past life for my monk and i wanted to do so while keeping it unarmed as well as having trap skills for trap bonus to xp while leveling

    one of my mains past life was 1/9/10 rge/monk/paladin

    I think I did it like this and did for paladin past life loved and gonna do it again once I finish this final monk pure life for the damage

    4 monk(fists of light just love light side monks)

    7 paladin(love fear immunity)

    12 monk
    13 monk improved evasion
    14-20 paladin

    love it couild do all traps and mix it up in combat very well was human 36 pt build by the way and so got trap bonus as well was able to solo kill all the bosses on the battlefield to top off xp the human/monk healing amp was useful next it will be even better with paladin past life

    The ANTI-Realms FANBOI NUKE THE REALMS ITS THE ONLY REAL WAY TO BE SURE

    Favoring the seventh monk level over a second artificer level because of wholeness of body seems a little strange as you take your last monk level at level 20 and as far as I understood your post you will TR not long after that. Also I would do the leveling progress slightly different (as I assume you want to reach 20 as fast as possible with as much self sufficiency as possible).
    1 (1) artificer. (Skill points) (And why not rogue? Gives you a sneak attack die.)
    3 (2-4) Monk. (Unarmed, and I would go for fists of light for steady healing)
    12 (5-16) Paladin. (Face it. You will not benefit from monk levels past level 3 (except the die step at level 4 and the feat at level 6) if you are taking that many paladin levels.)

    From here you basically have what you were looking for in the build.

    3 (17-19) Monk. (Or more paladin for more spells. If your life is close to an end at this point you might as well get the most of what you've got.
    1 (20) level of whatever class you might want. You might even just hold on to level 18 (for grouping purpose) till you hit xp cap and as such you are actually only planning on a level 18 build.

    Not far off what you posted yourself. The main difference would be the monk path.

    As for feats.
    As I before mentioned you might want to go light monk path instead. Also gives you some boosts occasionally. Saves a feat from dodge for the prestige giving you another free feat.

    Here's a quick version of the 1-18 progress I had in mind. Didn't look at skill points for this one nor did I worry about enhancements.

    K i guess i should have described this better, yes i know of the whole build for lvl 18 thing when building TR's but i also think that even though i am TR'ing pretty much right at cap i would like to tank a raid or two before since all my tanking i have done is on my barbarian would like to try it out as a punchie.

    This is a slightly altered version of the same build but i took hunter of the dead instead of defender due to it being a leveling build as well as did light monk for the self healing fist.

    The reason that i took arti instead of rogue is actually rather lame but i did plan to aim for a bit of ac during leveling and even though it is just +1 5% is 5% so i took it primarily for the enchant armor and the ability to do traps, 1d3 sneak is less than impressive. the real advantage to the rogue level would be the haste boost 1 but i think ill live since this toon is going to be pure monk anyway just picking up the PL

    It will work well. Paladin and monk classes are a good combination.
