Default a letter to the cannith guilds

    Stop dying.

I guess guilds come and go it just seems like we've lost too many too quickly. I see this as a bad thing, I don't know about you all.... What do you think?

I see the problem is that some guilds don't know when/how to stop growing and get to KNOW folks. The greatest guilds help each other in all content, and arent selfish. The simple truth is, once people 'cap out' it becomes a major grind for loot and some peoples attitude shifts from 'help each other' to 'me, me, me' to have the latest and greatest equipment. Either that or some folks are so Power-hungry, they tend to run a guild like a kingdom rather than a family.

I think the term 'Too big to fail' can be used here. What do I mean? It can be applied in two basic ways. The first is the false belief that you need a HUGE guild to build up your reknown and things like that. The second (I think more appropriate) use is certain persons in guilds letting their egos get too big and thinking that we'll never fail because WE'RE UBERZ!! Personally, I feel this is what we're seeing more of now based on my obeservations of in-game happenings.

Theres 2 basic kinds of guild death.

1 - People stop playing. I personally blame Turbines QA and creative team. Too much 4th edition garbage and all.

2 - People argue and break up. Every time it happens, 90% of the time, theyre a caveman guild. If you put the most hostile players of the server togheter, they will run out of rookies and/or PUGs and take back their anger and ego on each other. Its time for some caveman to quit. Rejoyce.

I dunno wich type you guys are talking about, but I hope its the later.
