    Default Ranger / rogue fighter build - Feedback

    Hello. I am a fairly new player and was interested on some feedback regarding this build. Primarily for solo/group play ( not so much raiding at all.

    Ranged attack/kiting is primary, with ability to melee as secondary option. Also desire to do traps, UMD and sneak around like a scout.

    Feedback welcome especially since I am learning this and trying to wade through all the options

    I don't think that Shot on the run is worth 3 feats. I'd probably rather invest in Power Attack, IC: Slash (or Pierce).

    Stat-wise, my favorite is Str-based with a good initial Dex. 11 Wis is plenty, could even be too much, depending on your + Stat gear and Tome situation.

    The great break points for your build are imho: The 6th ranger level, the 11th ranger level, and whatever's first of the 2nd rogue level and the 9th ranger level.
    Thus, I'd probably front-load Ranger, going something like
    1 Rogue
    2-12 Ranger
    13-14 Fighter
    15-20 Rogue. (the second fighter level could be braided in here, too)

    I'd probably not start TWFing until I got GTWF, but rather use a neat Falchion or a Carnifex instead.

    No, it's not.

    On the ranged side, you want your AA pre-reqs (WF:R, PBS, MT) plus Imp Crit Ranged. On the melee side, you want Power Atk & IC Slash or Pierce (depending on weapon type). Add Toughness and that's 7 feats; with ftr (or monk) 2 splash, that gives you two more to play with.
