Default Coyle the Damnable--- Story line Suggestion

Coyle Lovell has gone power mad and has aligned himself with agents of Shavarrath in a bid for power over the inhabitants of Eberron.

A mid level raid (with an epic option) where players battle the usual pit fiends, orthons, and bearded devils. After the "end boss" fight we would see a now purple named Coyle come out to fight, but of course a quick bonk on the head ends the life of he-who-has-made-many-of-us-scream, and chests spawn.

    The End.

Actually, when a powerful extra-planar is "killed" on a plane they're not a native of, they're banished to their home plane.

Sully, Lailat, etc are all being banished to Shavarath, not killed. In ToD, we are on their plane, so Sully bites it.

    Accidental sig-worthy quote. Thank you...
And the feeling is mutual as far as Coyle is concerned.

Would you mind if I used that?

Coyle is already dead. He died in a library long long ago. Cleaved, burned, frozen and PK'd many many times as we watched on.

That raid would be too easy. In order to beat Coyle-Purple-Named, just fully buff him and try to protect him. He will promptly fall over dead and all the lootz shall be yours.

i think an undead coyle is fully die ( i mean due).

hey, we even have a template. that guy in korthos, can't remember his name,
    comes back as an undead.

just having the ability to actually slay coyle might cause the quest to be
    run ad infinitum by vets.

I would fully support a quest line where the final objective is to kill coyle and we are presented with many options about how to carry out the task to fit our every whim.

I make it a point to fail the quest a few times, on purpose, just to see him die. If I'm playing one of my rogues, I sneak and let him follow, if ever there was a popcorn moment, this is it. I sleep better after failing that quest.

Actually, Lailat is dead. Zawabi trapped her into the circle of eternity, so she could not "escape" to Shavarath once defeated. Sully and Harry, on the other hand, are just banished.
