Default Will any of the MV duos go all the way?

MV is in middle of its 3rd Duo Tournament:

    Forum at http://mortalvoyage.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=25
Rules (added to regular MV rules) and quests at http://mortalvoyage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2945
    Standings at http://mortalvoyage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2955

Synopsis (see the threads above for more details):
Teams of two, starting after the run-up phase at the beginning of level 4, and not leveling to 5 at any point, any build, except no artificers, run a series of quests until only one remains. If either character dies the team is out.
Equipment is as you find it. Right now, most surviving teams, I think, are loaded out in mostly +1 gear, with some +2 and specials mixed in. Also various pots, ammo, scrolls, wands, clickies, etc.

    Quests:
    Stage 1: WW 1,2 (Sept 27 - Oct 3)
    Stage 2: WW 3,4 (Oct 4 - Oct 10)
    Stage 3: STK 1,2 (Oct 11 - Oct 17)
    Stage 4: STK 3 (Oct 18 - Oct 24)
Stage 5: Proof Is In The Poison (Oct 25 - Oct 31)
    Stage 6: The Snitch (Nov 1 - Nov 7)
    Stage 7: A Small Problem (Nov 8 - Nov 14)
    Stage 8: Partycrashers (Nov 15 - Nov 21)
Stage 9: Under the Big Top (Nov 22 - Nov 28)
    Stage 10: Redwillow's Ruins (Nov 29 - Dec 5)
Stage 11: Tear of Dhakan (Dec 6 - Dec 12)
Stage 12: Caverns of Korromar (Dec 13 - Dec 19)

    Note: All quests on Hard.

Proof wasn't the killer it was in the last two tournaments, and the house K quests that were real widow-makers the last two times are off the list. Also, there are more series, so better loot.

Of the 20 teams that started, at least 2 are past a small problem (this week's quest), and one is running it as I type. None have failed this week yet, and there were 6 teams to start the week.

The quest list is designed so the list is not beaten. Will any team go ALL THE WAY?!

    Only time will tell

One team has fallen to the final boss under the big top.

If the other team can pull through, we will have a winner!!

Both teams fell in Big Top hard with their level four characters. We're determining a way to break the tie now. Probably run Big Top again, but the result may be the same.

With both of the final two teams falling in Big Top, we settled on a PvP death match to decide the winner. Best of three in ten minute rounds. Our teams split the first two rounds. Third round went to Jed and Syn, affectionately known as Team Toaster. Congratulations to the Mortal Voyage DT3 champions. Cheers!
