I realize that they are Expanding beyond Eberron but really only margiaally, levels 1 thru 20 still need to be in Eberron and I don't really recall any Forgotten Realms specific races anyway.
How about we get something less "puntable".... or add the /punt , /midget toss, or /hold you at armslength & let you swing away patheticly until you collapse from exhaustion emotes. Then it would be a win/win for everyone!
Life is the leading cause of death
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
The Gene Pool needs chlorine
I have journeyed through the the Valley of Death and emerged the Shadow of Evil
All the gnome hate from a vocal minority is sad, sad, sad... /sigh
It's a base race in 3.5. Now that they are adding Druid, the last missing base class, it's time to put in the last base race!
Yehediah (Dwarf Cleric), Zeddek (Human Favored Soul)
Mezros (Drow Bard), Fieris (Drow Wizard)
Freibo (Halfling Rogue)
They'll give ya Gully Dwarves before Gnomes!
Rather have Shifters. They would fit into the enhancment system very well.
I've been playing DDO for a little over a year now...hell, if i make it to october it'll be 2 years..
and only now have I found something worth logging into the forums for. Give us Gnomes!
But when people make Gnomes sound like a travel comercial then it tells me they don't know the facts or detals of them at all from AD&D.
They are larger then Halflings for one, curious creatures, there are Deep Gnomes Tinkerer etc, many varieties. And YES they are the ONLY base race missing and if you know anything about role playing they are (my opinion) the most colorfull. IMagine a Rogue or Wizz or Arti Gnome and the power they could yeild (or any combination therin.)
Gnomes need love!!! THEY DONT WEAR POINTY HATS AND DO TRAVEL COMERCIALS!!!!
Ok, take a deep breath Mojo... you just said "Gnomes need love" in a Forum...
I'll just repost a couple of Gnome info links here from another thread. I'm looking forward to eventually seeing Gnomes as a base class that should have been here years ago. /signed on adding Gnomes.
Here are some links to Keith Baker's articles on the Zil Gnomes and a brief quote related to artifice.

The articles provide a bit of history on Gnome civilization and culture. Zilargo Gnomes send expeditions to Xen'drik for knowledge and guard the secrets they find. We really should see some House Cannith rivalry going on in Stormreach and some adventures incorporating the Trust for a bit more intrigue.
My vote is still for Gnome as well.
EDIT: The flavor script as well.
On that note, I want an adventure involving the first temple to the Mockery.Dorilan Del Caroldan sipped his tal and studied the map on the table. "The first temple to the Mockery -- just imagine what secrets it must hold! But this is one ruin you'll never raid, Solas."
The half-orc roared with laughter. "I'm sure it will be dangerous, Dorilan, but we've faced far worse. I've spent more time in Xen'drik than I have in the Marches. Don't worry, my little friend -- we'll keep you safe on the journey."
"It's not my safety that worries me, or the dangers of Xen'drik. Bursting into the Preceptor's estate, spilling blood in the light of day, beating that merchant for information -- that's not how things are done here."
Solas smiled and took a deep draught of his koreshk ale. Gnomes and their sense of propriety. The funny little man wouldn't last a day in Sharn. "Why not? I haven't seen a guardsman since I arrived. I've never seen a softer city." He looked at the door. "What's keeping Kyrna and Jaral? It's been nearly an hour."
"They're both dead," Dorilan said. But he wasn't Dorilan any more.
Solas' hand flew to the hilt of his sword, but his muscles turned to ice before he could draw. He strained with all his might, but he could not move.
The gnome smiled, revealing the ivory wand she'd kept hidden beneath the table. She was younger than Dorilan, and dressed in darkweave and leather. "We believe the best guards are those that remain unseen." Silvered steel glittered as a dagger appeared in her hand.
/signed if they include Kobold as an option as well.
I think of a "Tinker Gnome" arti and a Kobold Rogue and I get giddy... Watching those Kobold Shamen move around at even lvl 2 I am thinking they must have a starting Dex of what - 30?
With the addition of Druids, Gnomes are the last of the 3.5 players handbook core classes and races missing from the game.
Guild: Over Raided
Toons: Phasma - Swashbuckler ; Ceroni - Acrobat ; Selina Air Savant ; Cachin - Artificer
Gnomes would be great addition to game, my favorite race.
Once I get my moods under control, I might actually get a character past level 7... ooh, shiny!
Paladins got some love! Now for Warpriests...
My first D&D character ever was a Gnome. Of course, I was eight years old and to me roleplaying my character consisted entirely of marching around singing The Village People's "Macho Man" in a high pitched voice. My friend's older brother, who had begrudgingly agreed to DM a game for us at the insistance of his mother ("Colin, let Doug and Mike play too!") was not amused...
Bronies: For those who get it, no explanation is needed; for those who don't, none will do.
I already have a handful of Gnome names ready to go (say Gnome names really fast twenty times) so I'm on board.
I also want to see this first temple to the Mockery. They can add that as well.
More is better.
Guilds -- Officer: Umber Hulks, Member: Knights of the Silver Dragon (KotSD)
Characters: Nalinor (Human Rogue lvl 20), Cargonar (Dwarven Fighter lvl 11), Atlanon (Dwarven Fighter 11/Barb. 2). Beltakorr (Human Barb. 18/Fighter 2), Fleabite (Halfling Wiz. lvl 9), Skirahzalon (Drow Bard lvl 8).
If the Devs really wished, they could give a +Con/-Str startoff and allow an enhancement line for Int, that would possibly satisfy me but only just. Give em +2Int/-2Wis, or perhaps +2Int&Con/-2Str&Wis. Gnomes never felt like a tough race, they were the mad engineering geniuses and pranksters, not tough but weak lesser Dwarves.
Short version: /signed, as long as they get an Int bonus.
+2 racial bonus to Disable, bonus to Trapmaking. Possibly UMD racial enhancement line, but not a base +2 from creation.
