Default Can we at least have the Deconstruction altar back?

My backpack and bank slots and mailboxes and mules are all full now and I don't know what to do.

Someone said something about "selling" my loot, but I've forgotten how to do that. I only know how to feed loot into the deconstruction altar now. Could we please get the Deconstruction altar back even if we can't have the other ones? I can't go on any more quests until I have a way to grind up everything that I get from the chests!

Even better, let us put the deconstruction altar on guild ships!

My characters have lots of extra space. I can store it for you - no problem. Best not to think about it too much.

Clearly this is all just a plot to sell inventory and bank slots along with shared bank expansions and character slots for more mules.

I can support this idea :-D

ya my bags are overfull with stuff thats need to be discombobulated.

or maybe stick one of those machines just outside the building ? might reduce some of the lag inside.
    Halloween is dead on DDO.

Ain't the deconstruction altar the one that was broken?

Sigh, back in the day you just had to throw things in the sacrificial pyre and let the devourer grant you gifts.

Yes, as the deconning part was the one with most urgent bugs, i don't believe it will be accessible before crafting comes back.

The deconstruction altar was the one with the most obvious interface bugs, but I heard about a few exploits and one possible balance issue that may or may not be an exploit. Turbine doesn't tend to shut things down for bugs that are annoying, but rather for bugs that give people inappropriate amounts of loot/xp/whatever that could mess with the game.

It's certainly possible that the deconstruction altar was part of what caused the lockout, but it's the one with the lowest potential for abuse as far as I can see. Also, since essences are the limiting factor for leveling crafting and since we can hold a nearly limitless number of essences on our characters, getting the deconstruction altar back (perhaps right outside the crafting hall or perhaps by reopening the crafting hall with all of the other crafting altars turned off) would allow people to do most of the work involved in leveling their crafter (i.e. crunching up their items) without exposing DDO to any of the exploits that I had heard about.

give us the decon altar and the npc who sells the materials outside of the crafting hall so we can clean up our inventory mess again.
