    I....must....opine....

Really, i think most if not all spells are fine except 1. Dispell. If you have to dispell my buffs and your a caster, then you need to reroll. Casters, i.e. clerics, FVS, Sorcs and Wizzies should rule the pit period. But than again, thats my rule of thumb, obviously others do not feel this way, or rather, take pride in their abilities to own me 3000 other ways.

    But to each his own.

    Stay thirsty my freinds.

I agree on the point of dispel, to the point where I sometimes randomly annihilate people who try and dispel me (or successfully dispel me). Why? Because it's hilarious.

I have also been known to compromise otherwise flawless victories in order to stack burning blood and melf's on an opponent, mostly because I like watching people die on the ledge.

PvP drivel is hilarious but it can get tiresome after the 20th thread.

Idea blatantly stolen from the other PvP rules thread:

Divine Intervention + Negative Levels = INFINITE NEGATIVE LEVELS.

    Hey! I invented that trick!

    Here's how it works:

    1) DI the person.

    2) Blast negative levels for 4:50 (minutes/seconds)

    3) In the last ten seconds swap their team.

    4) DI wears off, renew it.

    5) Start neg levelling again.

I got someone down to 2,756 negative levels with 5 people in about 15-20 minutes. Hoping for 11 people next time.

The guy's saves were in the -4,000 or so.

Tested time and again, DI prevents death in every way. Spells, The Shroud Wall, infinite damage, Falling off the islands in Restless isles, staying at the Conjoined Abishai Devistator too long after killing it (I got caught on some rim at the top there), infinite negative levels (without it wearing out except for duration). Here's a funny little tidbit: after DI wears off, and you have more negative levels than your level, you don't die unless you take another negative level, damage, etc!

EXTRA: only one thing can kill you while DI is on: entering part 5 of the Shroud for the first time that run. You still die, but of course it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, it's fun. You also get to restore as much as 450 SP on one person (another 25 every 2 minutes) with the effect Divine Vitality, among other things.

Look for a Cleric by the name of "Foluke". He frequents the Open Palm Inn during his relaxing hours, when he performs his "therapeutic slaughter". Currently, though, he's about to work very hard to get the last few essences for Dreaming Dark. The exact item is uncertain, but it's definitely some kind of Ioun Stone. *Cough* Pale Lavender *Cough*

Anyway, he would probably enjoy the break. Make sure to round up some caster friends to speed things up!

On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, Pale Lavender Ioun stones are pretty nice, aren't they?

Ia, ia they are. Every now and then I still run elite Ringleader even after the XP is worn out just in case one drops.

...and a Cthulhu fhtgan to you too.

I have to opine too, as I have a bit funny anecdote.

I just joined DDO in Dezember 2010 or so, and I do not have so much time to play, and well, soon after joining the game, we had the crystal cove event. I waited in the tabern to get some buffs from other parties, and then run through the island killing kobolds and being killed by Minotaurs.
Afterwards I droped by the Lobster, and I saw a room at the left and there was loud "spell noise". I told to myself "hey, nice, buffs for free"( At that time I didnt know also that this buffs dont last when you enter a dungeon). Anyway, without thinking it twice I run to the room and jumped happily inside. I swear I was dead before hitting the floor.

Oh yah, at prime-time (people say "after school gets out") it's like a crateful of manic piranhas in there.
