I just went out and purchased the Players Handbook, (the first of three) and I'm still on the fence as far as an opinion goes. I for sure have noticed plenty that I don't like in the book, but not all of it is bad.
One bad thing that did raise my eyebrow -- THREE Players Handbooks and two Dungeon Masters guides...?
*cough* Money making scam *cough*
But anyway, I'm coming here to both learn more about if I even want to jump into this new era of D&D, or just hold back in the world of 3.5, and also to find out the 'whys' everyone feels like they do.
A pros vs. cons list would be great too if you have the knowledge and the time to post one.
So thanks ahead of time.
There's a place near my home that plays 4th edition on Wednesday nights. Not sure I want to go and join yet. But Saturday is the 3.5 group and I'm stuck at work that day. *sigh*
Thoughts and opinions on 4th edition D&D?
