Default Using a debit card directly to buy turbine points.

Is this possible? When I was in game I checked the store and all that was available was credit card, phone, visa electron and paypal.

    Thanks in advance guys

Yes it's possible. AFAIK just select the credit card option and input details as normal.

Should work with credit or debit cards.

unless the debit card is not a "Visa" or "Mastercard". Many(especially outside the states) are not.

Well, yeah. I suppose there might be a couple of glitches. The vast majority of cards are one of those 2 in the UK though. Not sure about elsewhere.

The exception is one time use-and-toss cards.
    Example: Tax return debit card.
The system check to make sure that your card will be valid if you choose to subscribe, and as there was no intention to add more money to the card it will fail that check.

Most debit cards will work, but if the card is something similar to the example it will not.

There actually is a sticky about this.

Please note that there is a difference between a Debit card and a One Time Use card (like the one you get a tax return on).

Most single use cards won't authorize verifications if you are attempting to add them to a site for potential reoccurring payment (which is part of what happens when you use the card for subscription fees or points purchases). You can generally call and the Account Management department can do a single payment on this type of card.

Some pre-paid cards are re-loadable. These can usually be used for subscription fees or points purchases, as long as they are registered with the players name and address, and the card company doesn't have any restrictions.
