    Default True reincarnation

    Greetings,
    While waiting for our beloved toons to come across the pond I thought about reincarnating my rogue. What do you think of it, any suggestions, know any bugs with certain skills? Any advice is more than welcome.

    Ah I've got one question actually. If I take 12 mnk and 8 rog levels, I will have 5 attacks from my BAB.
    And when I take 13 mnk and 7 rog, I will have 4 attacks from my BAB. The question is, will my flurry of blows (13th level) will suffice the loss of 5th attack from BAB?

    - Ah the toon builder didn't add bonus BAB from flurry of blows. Thus my BAB should end at 5 attacks?

    5 attacks? This isn't PnP, we do not get more attacks per round from BAB (beyond the first 2 BAB or something). High BAB grants a little faster attack speed, IIRC, but that's it.

    Also, why so many save feats? You have good saves anyway. Get Power Attack at once. Also, perhaps Stunning Fist would work better, or quick draw, or maybe even more toughness feats. HP never hurt anyone.

    Personally I don't like the bluff skill, I'd rather take diplo.
    Lots of tumble ranks, too. If you're in it for the flips, sure go ahead, but I'd rather put more into hide/move silently, or even OL.

    Enhancement-wise... lots of stuff in saves again. But only rank two in haste boost? Haste boost is really really nice.
    I'd also consider taking Way of the Elegant Crane instead of Clever Monkey, for more ki to spam ToD with.

    EDIT: I'd also go for LN alignment instead of LG.

    AFAIK it's somewhere between -- number of attacks per manyshot is for example closely derived from number of attacks from BAB. The progression of faster attack speed per BAB *has* been smoothed somewhat significantly, but it's still built on a basic design present in earlier versions of DDO where attack speed *did* more closely mirror the attack speed steps that we see in D&D. The steps *still* exist in the game, but they are generally far less steep than they used to be The big difference between current and earlier versions of the game is that *each* extra + of BAB *will* improve attack speed -- but there is still, for example, a relatively significant step up from BAB +19 to +20 ... and I *think* that the difference between BAB +0 and +1 is similarly steep (but might be wrong about this last one, so don't sue me if that's the case ... ).

    +3 BAB from flurry

    Math should do it equal - I hope so.

    I appriciate help from your post Dandonk. Already have taken your advices into consideration.
    Tell me though, what benefit will I get from LN alignment?

    I'm pretty sure that BAB progression is not how it is in-game anymore. They changed it a while ago.

    At BAB 3 you get all 4 attacks in the sequence. There is no difference in number of attacks in a sequence between 14 and 15 BAB - but the 15 BAB might will likely give you a little bit faster attack speed.

    LN will enable you to use evil aligned items, such as Litany, which could be nice. Of course, you'd have to use UMD to use PG wraps, but that shouldn't be a problem.

    I agree, I wouldnt go for all these saves feats. they will make your saves uber, but i think you could get some much nicer bonuses. PA would make you much better in a fight. Maybe nimble fingers for epic traps, skill focus UMD so lower failure on heal scrolls and the like without spending ingredients on a +cha green steel.
