Looks like there are still some bugs to work out, good thing I have 3-4 months of farming before I TR (prob more than that.)
This is a great idea! You can all unite, and reroll together and make toons that can actually help the groups your in! way to go OP +1
(Ive read nothing of this post except the title of the thread)
Do or Do not..... there is no Try. -Yoda'DDO, or DDOn't. There is no WoW' -Dunklezhan
I'm just messing with a Warforged Mechanic in the planner now.
With +Int to damage, should I be aiming for Int increases, Dex increases or trying to split it pretty evenly?
On a 32pt build, I could start with 14/16/16/16/6/6 (keeping Str up), 10/16/18/16/6/6 (focusing Con), 10/18/14/16/6/6 (focusing Dex) or 10/16/14/18/6/6 (focusing Int)
Whatever Int I start with, I'm likely to put my L4 point in Int and use a +1 Int tome ASAP, what with skill points not being retroactive.
Edit: having messed around with the build more, I find myself with a bunch of spare AP sitting around. On a pure (Mechanic) Rogue, once you've maxed out sneak attack damage and got the mechanic prereqs, what's important?

I've been using robes/outfits, all depends on the exact stats though.
Thanks to the OP for this thread. It has been a real inspiration.
My repeater rogue is Repairman Jack on Orien. Still only low level but loving theplaystyle and the challenge of it .
I'm in a +3 mithral shirt to answer the above post.
Did an all repeater raid ever come together? Maybe everyone with veteran status or prepared to level a new toon for the new raid in update 7 should get together to try. I would gladly copy to another server to be part of that.
I have reviewed Update Seven and it appears the most affecting change for Repeater Rogues is the addition of the half-elf class and the Half Elf Diletlante: Wizard/Sorc which allows a bit more UMD in the beginning. Also, half elven social graces allow the use of Diplomacy, without actually taking points in Diplomacy, which is nice, and the immunity to sleep allows to to keep shooting. So far I have to say I love the update!
Oh and I've never seen any enemy cast sleep before so thats not useful at all.

Since ranged isn't driven by PA and you don't get dex to damage, what number should you reasonably be looking at for your attack attribute?
On a DEX race rogue (halfling, elf, whatever), let's assume you start w/ an 18 dex and 16 int. Levels into which? With 4 enhancements and a +6 item and probably a +2 tome, you're sitting easily at a 30 dex ... 32 with exceptional. Is that "enough" to-hit? Should the levels go into INT instead for damage?
What is the conventional wisdom on this?
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane
experience of epic, or raids outside the shroud, so that may change my mind.
I have been reading these pages and I found that I really like the idea of a mech repeating rogue. Sadly, I only have 28 point build to work with but I do have wf and monk if that helps the cause. I have been trying all different types of builds so i do not have any high level to play to farm, so tomes are ruff, but +1 tomes are in my reach as of now. I would like to give a 28 point build a try but if it would just be completely lacking something perhaps I should just wait until drow or 32 point because I am a fan of the wf.
The +2 dex and +2 int that drow get definitely help to push the hit/damage up on a repeater rogue.
