    Tips on WiFi & 3G/4G
Last year, PAX 2009 crashed AT&T's 3G network. WiFi was slow due the sheer number of people. Rumor mill says they've fixed some of the issues from last year, but expect slow connections and spotty service under the Expo roof.

Tips on Health & Sickness Prevention
    • wash your hands
    • bring anti-bacterial lotion or hand sanitizers
    • try not to shake hands with strangers
    • Do not lick door handles or door nobs
    • Sneeze and cough into the crook of your elbow

I can't wait to be there!

Hey, will there be any Asheron's Call presence, or is it just DDO and LOTRO?

And if not, can someone sneak me some AC swag anyway? (grin)

Red face I'm seriously considering getting a pass.

Out of Fri. and Sun. which is the better choice? I'm leaning towards Sun. But it may be better to get a jump on it by going Friday. I can only afford 1 day if at all. But the bonus is I already live here. I can walk...

Sadly, for the first time in six years, I won't be able to be at PAX.

    Question Anyone have a leaning?

I am still stuck on Fri., or Sun. decision. Will DDO be represented there this year? Have there been any announcements from Turbine about some presence at the show?

I'd go on Friday, if only for the concerts that evening. They are very cool, even if you've never heard of the people playing.

As for DDO being represented, I'd gander it's going to be a heavy LotRO year, with that going F2P. Last year DDO was new to F2P, and it was well represented - with people making new accounts and playing right on the show floor. It was very cool to load up my live account and take it for a spin in the middle of the expo hall. hehehe

But, even in past years when they've had a more LotRO-centric booth, DDO has always had a few machines dedicated to it.

Wish I could be there - have fun!

If only the same could be said for Asheron's Call.

I'd rep you but I have to pass it around. Which wouldn't have mattered, 'cause I just couldn't tear my eyes away from the exploding chicken fire. Ha. So, I couldn't have rep'd you for that either...booo. I thought it was like some metal music video or something.
So, at least one vote for friday...
