    Thought is a tankish type, alternating between tower shield/dwarven axe and 2h axe. Pretty much pure damage dealer who should be able to step in and tank when needed I'm hoping?

    AFAICT the biggest issues for pally tanks are no tower shield proficiency and Intimidate is not a class skill, which is why so many of them take a fighter splash. Check out this thread for a couple of dwarf pally tank builds.

    what kind of ac do you plan to achieve with this build? i dont see much tanking capabilities, you are losing Power Attack, a feat that every dps should have, and much more for thf chars, and a lot of enhancements points, and you wont be able to tank anything past lvl 10... even before lvl 10 you dont need tower shield to tank... i would switch to dex 8 con 16, change tower shield for power attack, and go all out dps, your enhancements would need some work but thats easy to change...

    Looking more to DPS than epic tank - this build should hit low 50's sustainable AC self buffed. Under the impression that is good for normal/hard of most content, am I mistaken on that? If so, stinks to be me :/.

    10 base
    13 armor
    9 shield
    1 dex
    2 chaosgarde
    5 +5 protection cloak
    2 armor and shield ritual
    5 aura
    3 barksin pot

    gives 50.


    Yes, boogered the Power Attack, have to place it in - umm, hate to lose tower shield but guess it is either that or extend...

    If I did lose the tower shield.....Could back off the Dwarven axe to hit, pick the AC back up in allowed dex by taking armor mastery instead... is that right?
