    Default Monk Past Life

Quick question. Does TRing a monk into a monk multiple times keep upping the base unarmed damage die? IE does the monk past life feat stack with itself?

no, because the feat which increases unarmed dice is the one you have to take yourself...those you can take only once

the passive past life with +1dmg on the other hand can be stacked up to 3 times

    Default limits

Unarmed damage is limited to 2d12. I forget if that is one or two times but you can TR more than twice.

One other note is completionist feat gives ALL passive past life feats. However, you have to have taken ALL classes up to 20th and this resets IF they introduce a new class. So, if you play alot, I would go for the completionist feat and take the other feats as you do not get them automatically.

Other way around. Having all the free passives grants access to Completionist.

    2d14?

    There is not a d14.

Or is this a special case?

Certainly in pnp, the only dice rolls are d2 (coin?) d3 (spinner?), d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20. The d100 consist of two d10 rolls, each dice representing ones or tens. Seems strange they would resort to an unconventional dice.

apart from the pnp stuff i don't see anything why the software-random-number-generator should not reflect a d7 or d9 or a d14.

You get this with the lv 3 past life feat and the Jidz Te'ka bracers (in earth stance i think). But there is currently no way to get higher.

Once I finish unlocking my bracers, I'll dump down into earth stance, and tell ya what the tier above 2d12 is.

It makes no sense.. but yes, its 2d14.

I argued about this over a year ago when they mentioned scaling fist damage. I very specifically told a dev there was no such thing as D7's and in PnP they prgress up by die stages not just numbers, so in effect it SHOULD be 2d20, or change the number of dice and dice type and make the nex stage 3d10 or 4d8, along those lines. My post went unanswered and I posted about it a few more times and still went with no reaction. So I took as it players do not really care and thats how the devs want to do it.
