    Default Greensteel for my monk........

Ok I have all i need to start stickin tiers on my blank cloak....but i cant decide on what to stick on it I have been told that Radiance gaurd is awesome to have if your a Hafling monk like myself.....I have also been told smoke is great with it's perma-blur and all. SOOOOOOOOOOO.......................I guess my question is what should i make and why. should i stick with the 45 hit points? I also considered trading 10 hit points for greater fire resistance which would bring me to 38 fire res at all times....canceling out most scorching rays(which i hate more than anything in the whole wide world) and lava damage.....I dont know tho so any imput would be greaty appreciated

i personally have a mineral 2 cloak on mine. prot 5, stoneskin x2, heavy fort, and 45 hp's(all con skill bonus' for getting that concentration higher!). freed up a couple spots easy, and left room for tod set. but, just a thought...

smoke is a good choice, as well. i wont deny that, either. but it wont free up spots in your clothing for other things like a mineral 2 would.

no reason you cant have cake, and eat it, too...lol. on a serious note, on a monk, choose your clothing slots wisely. you might want to save the helm spot, and go goggles-a very worthless spot for a monk. my healers all make min 2 sp goggles, just to consolidate 2 slots into 1. mineral 2 is very nice for clothing items. i have smoke gloves on my barb. so, if you can get mineral cloak, and a smoke item in on a monk....i say hell yeah. you definately cant go wrong

Under no circumstances should a monk go with goggles over a cloak or even helm for GS. If you think the goggles slot is useless for a monk may I direct your attention to: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...nesGoggles.jpg Any melee worth his salt should wear those. For casters and clerics GS goggles are a great idea. For melee not so much.

I made 45 hp smoke cloak for my monk. It's great.

Existential stalemate will be pretty redundant if you get a ToD monk ring since those all have +6 wisdom.
