    Hello Everyone,

    Please review this thread if you have general questions about DDO Eberron Unlimited.

    Where are my beta characters?
    Beta characters will not be available on the live worlds.

    Will the adventure packs, classes, or races that were unlocked on Lamannia be available to my subscription on the live worlds?
    Purchases made during the beta will not carry over to the live worlds. However, any points purchased during the beta will transfer over to your live subscription.

    I purchased Turbine Points during the beta; however I am currently using a different account on the live worlds. How do I get access to those points?
    The Account Management Team will be able to assist with this type of issue. We can deactivate the beta account that you don't plan on using in the future and manually add Turbine Points to your primary subscription. Please submit help requests for this specific issue HERE.

    What happens if I cancel my recurring subscription plan?
    A detailed description of the subscription charges when downgrading from "VIP" to "Premium" can be found HERE.

    How long will it take to receive the launch bonus points?
    The launch bonus points will be granted throughout the Head Start (many have already been granted). If you have not received the appropriate number of bonus points by 9/9/09 please feel free to contact the Account Management Team for assistance. To submit a help request for this specific issue please click HERE.

    If I don't already have a subscription when will I be able to start playing?
    New players will be able to create accounts on the official launch date of 9/9/09.

    I already have a DDO account. What do I need to do to play for free?
    All you need to do to access your existing DDO account is log in. If you need to reset your password please use the "forgot password" link located at http://myaccount.turbine.com. If you run into any problems in accessing your Username/Password you can contact the Account Management Team. Contact details can be found within my signature.

    I just upgraded and I cannot access Cannith.
    Cannith is currently available for players who were retail subscribers prior to launch. A retail product key is required to access this server, otherwise you will see a red stop sign instead of a green check at server select. Cannith will be updated to allow access to all players at some point on 9/2/09. All players should now be able to access Cannith.

    What are the differences between VIP, Premium, and Free status?

    What are the server, auction, trade, and tell limitations for Free Players?
    I have included a breakdown of the limitations below.

    10 messages in 5 minutes
    Say/Shout

    I'm a VIP, why I don't have access to Drow, Artificer and Favored Soul?
    Drow, Artificer and Favored Soul are not included with VIP access. They can be unlocked using Favor or Turbine Store Points. If you unlock using Favor, it is per server, while the Turbine store purchase unlocks these options across all servers.

    You can find a wealth of game play information, including classes, races, NPCs, locations and quests in the Compendium.
    You can also find useful information in the DDO Knowledge Base.

    Default download now?

    i have several friends ready to try out on launch date. Is there a way to get the TDM and start the download now and activate the F2P version on august 6th? Or is it necessary to wait till the 6th to even start?

    You can have your friends download the current Live client here. It will then auto-update when they first log in when it goes live. Please note that's not a TDM version, just a straight download and install.

    They can also start trials now (if they want to reserve names and maybe create characters and run through the beginning areas). You can still refer them from the Account Management page.

    i have some friend that want to play but every time i try to help them with creating an account the submit button is always grayed out any ideas or is it looked out to new players until the actually buy DDO?

    yes, the submit is greyed out and there is an error under the forum name creation bar that says that it timed out. It is broken, or has they update not been launched yet?

    The new account setup area is now active. You should be able to create a new account without any issues now.

    Hi, im trying to access my account for DDO, but it keeps saying i need to update my payment plan. i thought the game was free now? what happened?

    If you just want to play free, you can simply log into the game.

    If you previously had a failed payment the system will announce that you need to update your billing plan, but that only matters if you want to have a paid/VIP subscription.

    I'd recommend logging into the game, and if you can't then you'll want to contact the Account Management department.

    Question two accounts??

    Is it possible to have two accounts to DDO on the same computer? Or how do u delete an account???

    Yes, you can have 2 different DDO accounts that you play on the same computer. Please note that we do not support playing both at the same time. You can actually log into any DDO account on any computer that has the game installed. There is no link between the software on a specific computer to a specific game login. Just be careful that you're typing in the right username and password combination if you have the launcher set to remember you.

    I bought DDO stormreach and had before it went free but didnt have a subscription because I couldnt afford it at the time(got it as a gift for christmas 2008). It says I am supposed to have Premium status but I don't. Am I supposed to or not If I am how do i get it instead of Free?

    In order to get Premium status from a box set, you have to upgrade your subscription with the product key included in the box. If you think you've already done that, please contact the Account Management department for assistance. If you still have the key, it will help to have it available when you call, or include it in the email.
