1/2 Celestial. I love winged chars. (sure wish I could fly in this game. )

Hound Archon would be kinda cool too.

Minatour. They just look cool IMO.

    Kobold.

    Mul (from darksun setting)
Would cool to see if they could make a viable mage.

Kalshtar to have another Eberron race.

Tann'ari since there has been so much of a demon infestation in the realm as of late.

    Default Best But

    Tiefling
    or Succubus

Hands down!!!! The only better female a** to look at, while playing DDO for hours on end!

    I'd even play "Backwards"......

I look at this request in two ways. The first is from the generic or more pragmatic standpoint in the Base Races. Half-Elf, Gnome, and Half-orc. These are the base races from 3.5 that have yet to be introduced to DOO. And in the current game environment/system I can see Gnome not being a high demand character race, but the other two races are a different story. My first character in AD&D was a Half-Elf Archer who I played in a four plus year campaign that I would love to see come alive in DDO.
I understand that the Half-Orc is causing some problems with existing coding and difficulty so I understand why we haven’t seen them yet.

As for the more Fantasy based view, Minotaurs have always held my attention, Dragonborn (or their equivalnet), and finally somesort of Sea Elf/Mer-people would be interesting.
The issue with Minotaurs probably is the same with Half-Orc, where certain builds make them too powerful, my solution is reduce the class selection to Warrior, Barbarian, Lore-Seeker (not the Guild).
Dragonborn is a race that appears in a number of settings and would be interesting to see them appear in DDO, even though I don’t think they appear on Eberron.
And Finally some sort of Aquatic/Sea Peoples would be interesting. I also think the look would be cool to see blue and green skinned over flesh colored elves we see today. Again not sure they appear in Eberron.

Aasimar - They'd make very nice Paladins and GREAT Favored Souls.
Goliath - I'd be amenable to Orcs or Half-Orcs instead if you couldn't incoporate "Powerful Build" into the game.
Tiefling - They'd make GREAT Wizards. There seem to be too many Sorcs these days. Let's put in a race to encourage people to play Wizzies please.

Goliaths are fun & would be even more fun in a mountainy setting. I have not seen them in Eberron material, but they would be cool nonetheless and as tall as the WF.

Answering from the perspective of races NOT in the game currently.

    Eberron Specifc

Kalshtar - Bring more of Eberron to the game, they are crucial to the stories (books) and would add a different dimension in psionics

    Non-Eberron

Kender - You CAN NOT have more fun than partying with a Kender

Gnomes - Always liked them, what can I say.

For the non-lore centric, let's try a question that's a little more general (but always important):

If you could play any D&D themed race in-game, what would it be... and why? Feel free to name your top 3!
    Well lets see.

    Core Races:

Human is generally my choice as they are all around decent gain more skills and an extra feat. Frequently Rogues, two weapon fighters, Archers, Arcanes and 1 druid/Master of the Many Forms which I retired after she started to break the game.

Halflings for rogues ocassionally because they are way cool and in Eberron get Dinosaurs Really fun in all Halfling parties icky when played as the deadly guy you don't want to be on the wrong side of

    Eberron Specific:

Shifters for my Druids. I am actually running one right now in a PnP game with a pair of Monk levels. I've given away almost all of her magc items except a cloak that protects her from environmental effects in the desert.

WF for Artificers but I usually leave that to one of my friends

    Odd Ball races.

Aasamir for Clerics and Monk/Paladin hybrids. Made a fun one named Sevas Susej... which has become one of my stock characters

Whisper Gnomes... broken little buggers. Like halflings with the ability to silence people. I'm not allowed to play them so I'm told

    Aesop
Rule 1: Don't sweat the small stuff
Rule 2: Its all small stuff
Rule 3: People are stupid. You, me everyone... expect it
more rules to come in a different sig

    1. Half-Orc. This is my 1st choice for 2 reasons: 1) a lot of players are looking for this race, so it would be a good way to cater to player desires and 2) half-orcs are important in Eberron lore. Ideally, the druid class would come out at the same time and I could have a half-orc druid.
    2. Half-Elf. This is my 2nd choice. Although half-elves are also important to Eberron lore, the 3.5e half-elf is pretty weak and would need some love in the enhancement department to make it a viable choice in DDO.
    3. Gnome. This is my 3rd choice. Gnomes are also an important race in Eberron, but I don't think that they add too much in terms of gameplay over existing races.

    My favorite races:

    - VON 1-6
    - Tempest Spine
    - Shroud
    - WW (for lowbies)

All make good races. Especially when done naked, or guild vs guild.

    Garth

    Garth 20/ftr (Kensei) Haeson 20/clr Cairis 12/ftr 6/rgr 2/rog Xortan 20/wiz
    Tinosa 20/brd Garthbot 20/fvs Gaarth 18/ftr 1/rgr 1/rog (Stal Def)
Tibetan 20/mnk Automatic DDO raid timers Haezon 20/sor (Conj)

I actually think Hobgoblins and Kobolds would be at the top of my list.

I've long wanted gnomes, half-orcs, and planetouched races.... but I would have a ball with kobolds and hobgoblins.

Number 1 is obviously already covered. ;P Warforged! Though seeing Scouts would be cool too. :P (EDIT 2: Just read some posts, and discovered there's a Warforged Charger!? Can I change this to "More constructs in general"? Or is that too vague? :P)

Number 2 would be Dragonborn. I love those scaly guys; they look awesome, they have an interesting history (Or can, if you create your own). . . And who doesn't want to say "I'm part dragon, baby!"? I don't know many people that wouldn't want to. :P

Number 3 would be Minotaur. Like the Dragonborn, they look awesome, they have/can have an awesome history. . . It'd be fun to run around as a raging Minotaur Barbarian, too.

    -D

EDIT: Disclaimer: I in no way am biased and totally do not stick to these 3 races for every single character that I ever make in pen and paper. Nope! Not me. That would be silly.

    3. Mindflayers, so we can suck brains as well. YUM!
