Enjoy The String Cheese Incident with special Guest Darol Anger on Fiddle covering Jimi's "Voodoo Chile" on July 4th 1998 at The High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, CA

Link provided by a great Jam Band podcast: endlessboundaries.com
Link is down. But I saw Darol Anger as the fiddle playing guest of Yonder Mountain String Band at the Northwest String Summit in Oregon back in July. I wasn't much into bluegrass before the Summit, but I am now. Yonder is amazing.

Please try to remember THIS IS JUST A GAME!! So have FUN, LAUGH, and ENJOY YOURSELVES.
I try to understand what others mean, NOT just what they say! Failing that I still try to keep an open mind about all things. And YES, everyone has the right to be wrong, ignorant, and just plain stupid, (this includes myself.) BUT that doesn't mean I have to like it.

I went to see Zappa Plays Zappa last night at the House of Blues at Disneyland. Dweezil has assembled an incredible young band, but this show had the added bonus of guitarist Allan Holdsworth joining them on stage for about 15 mins of pure sonic bliss, perfoming an amazing version of the Black Page. Previous ZPZ shows I've been to had other guest players such as Steve Vai, Ray White, and Terry Bozzio.

Not this time. They mostly played early stuff, lots of tunes from Freak Out!, Hot Rats, etc. But they also played a nice chunk of Bongo Fury and a few of the more popular ones.
