Default The Jerk - 14/6 barbarian ranger

The Jerk will utilize either mineral 2 heavy picks or mineral 2 khopeshs. The goal is to obtain 14/6 for end game DPS madness.
This toon will be a great utility in a group, but I do not believe survivability outside of a group is even a thought. The toon will not have the AC like "The Monster" build but will be capable of delivering some of the highest dps in the game.

The build was true neutral to take advantage of negative energy weapons. This was merely a thing that I had a preference to. If i were to recreate this toon it would definitely be good aligned.

If someone has a better build planner than DDO Character Planner Version 2.96 please let me know as this does not give a lot of information other than feats/abilities/enhancements.

Remember this is all I could layout until this planner extends to lvl 20. I'm posting this looking for improvements in the enhancement/feats/ability lines.

    Edit:::
I forgot to mention this leaves 16 points total for end game enhancements. The posted build only uses 60.
Power critical was thrown in because i wanted more dps. With bloodstone this would give +10 to confirm crits. If this doesn't add to DPS i would remove it for another feat of Toughness.

I would just like to mention that I love the names people are coming up with lately.

Are you comfortable going with a build you cannot respec his enhancements, ever?

    Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Oh wait, you mean do I care if I can't ever respec my enhancements?

    No. No. No. No.

Same answer you got the first time you asked the question, 1,000,000 re-posts ago.

One thing. Are you waiting for a +3 dex tome so you can take GTWF?

Respec - This does not bother me. The numbers have been crunched and this is some massive dps.

The Name - I figured a bumbling idiot throwing blades around is very dangerous.

I'm hoping to score a +3 dex tome in mod9.

The improved twf and greater twf is great but not needed to make the build effective.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated to perfect the build.

I am interested in your feat layout at lvl 20 when all is said and done.

Yeah I was looking into that. looks like power crit won't be needed. Any suggestions on it's replacement?

Someone pointed out the lack of dodge mobility spring attack for tempest

The way the build is setup can easily add on tempest since you won't do an enhancement reset. You can change the feats out to obtain the option to addon tempest later on; with out the loss of barb crit rage.

I should clarify that this was limited to the character planner that i used. So this is the current end game and not mod 9 end game :P

I do not believe that you will be able to get Greater Two Weapon Fighting on this build.

You don't pick up Improved Two Weapon Fighting until Lvl20, and your last choosable feat is at lvl18. Unless, that is, Fred doesn't care about granted feats when letting you respec.. If that's the case, it's a bug and *should* get fixed as you'd end up with a broken character..

Generally, there's not a lot of leeway for feats in a 14barb/6rgr
    Typically, you'd end up with:
    Dodge
    Mobility
    Spring Attack
    Improved Critical
    Greater Two Weapon Fighting
    Power Attack
    Toughness

And if human, you could add one more to that list - cleave or Stunning Blow, maybe?

The build is missing something. I can't put my finger on it.

    A chair?
    An ashtray?
    A paddle game?

p.s. you sure about oversized twf? Could you get greater twf in if you skipped otwf?

    [edit] definitely a paddle game.

Rangers get ITWF as a class feat at level 6. I know someone posted something about not having that feat earlier is all.

Yes, rangers get Improved Two Weapon Fighting as a class feat at Ranger 6. This build won't get Ranger 6 until Level 20, making it impossible to pick up Greater Two Weapon Fighting at level 18, the last stop on the pick-my-feat-busroute.

I'm certain you are correct, however, why post a build that will soon never be possible?

Barbarian Critical Rage I & II are going bye bye soon. Much like me. (yes, let the rejoicing begin.)

Why not.. doesn't take long to hit 14 to take advantage of it while you can. Just figured it would be fun regardless.
I hope you are having fun :-)

The build is still very effective with out greater two weapon fighting. As this would have been great to have ... it doesn't rely on it. If you think that is a make or break deal then so be it.

Excellent answer. I see so many people forgetting that "fun" is part of a game. My suggestion would be to put in a warning that future builders won't be able to take part part of this design due to the lack of those enhancements in the future. They are part of the primary reason for this build's dps factor after all.
