    Default Shield spell

Does this spell give complete immunity to magic missile? Does it only protect against one missile? The description is a bit vague.

What a stupid ruling, we all know that D&D promotes satanism, not gangs.

It does indeed though this was not always so. It is the beginning of the Shiradi nerf. However that also means force enhancement is sorely underpowered in yet another way.

Shield-lvl 1 spell blocks: magic missile-lvl 1 spell: Seems about right.
    : Force Missile-lvl 4 spell: Seriously Broken.
    : Chain Missiles-lvl 3 spell: Seriously Broken.
: Those are the only "Pure force spells", Disintegrate and such still remain but Force spells are almost entirely single target and now shield nightshield preventable(1st lvl spell).

    Here is a little perspective..
Resist Energy Fire 10-30(2nd lvl spell): Blocks PART of most casters Burning Hands(yes it allows a save, if you make at you will likely take none..at low levels, evasion required at high lvls for no damage from a high lvl specced caster burning hands. The specced force means diddley here. The shield buff is a massive force nerf.

Though, to be fair, every single caster you face should have up shield or nightshield, which would put a far more serious dent in shiradi casting.
